About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Golfer Reviews
Booked 18 but was only able to play the back 9 twice due to grounds work. Course was very busy on a weekday since there were only 9 holes for all the golfers to use. Friendly staff and things were in decent shape. The par 3 course is cute and in immaculate condition.
Fine Course - Needs a Marshal
The course overall is pretty beginner friendly. A few crowned tee boxes that needed some care, fairways were fine, some of the greens needed some love and they were quite slow. The views on the course were quite cool with Busch Gardens as a backdrop for most of the course!
My only complaint was that this course needs a marshal maintaining pace of play. As I stated, the course is beginner friendly and seemed to attract a lot of ‘beginners’ the day my group played. We all start somewhere, but sometimes you need a little guidance from the course employees to just pick up your ball and move on.
This is a course I’m happy I played, would play again, but wouldn’t rush back to any time soon.
History and Culture
It was my privilege to return to the Historic Roger's Park course. For me, the course holds Historic relevance as it was founded by an African American trailblazer family whose legacy reaches even to Manatee County.
Is like to see the city invest more in upgrade to the carts and the fairway
.
Otherwise, the course was challenging but open to score in. I was happy to play there and I'll be happy to return
Great Course! Laid back and fun
Guy at the front desk was cool and informative. Good pace of play and the conditions were nice. Greens could use some work but weren’t terrible.
Always a solid course
I'm always happy for a round at Rogers Park. I was walking with another man who was in a cart and we cruised around the course in ~3:45. Pace was really good, and the course was in good shape. No complaints at all here. I got the course for $50 since I was walking, and the course was well worth that.
Missing Player
After purchasing a round of golf for 3 players, one player did not come due to an illness. Is there anyway that his round could be refunded or used for a future purchase?
