Knollwood Golf Course

Green was in good shape and also the bunkers. It was nice all around.

They need to have a starter for the front and back 9! It takes way too long to play 18 due to the free-for-all on the back 9.

This is my second time playing this course and I thought I would give it a second shot after a terrible first experience (6 hour round).

We just finished 9 holes and it took 3 hours again! One some holes we have 4 groups on one hole. We got to the clubhouse and for the second time the KITCHEN IS CLOSED AT 1PM!!

SLOW.. NO FOOD.. AVERAGE COURSE - Dont waste your money.

Brian, the Manager there was very, very nice and friendly. He treated us with professionalism and kindness. Definitely a welcoming figure and it’s always nice to meet and greet with the staff. He does it right.

Great pace of play. Course was in great condition

Like The Course (Local) however there were no warnings about them reseeding the Greens … greens were totally sandy .. thought I was playing in a Sandbox at the Park… They should’ve discounted the cost because of that

Grew up playing here. Pace was and continues to be an issue. Awesome track and if maintained better, has the potential to be awesome. But nobody cares and the pace always sucks

First the management of this course is a joke,no starter and you can pretty much teeoff anytime you want.Me and my lady teeoff at as a 2 some and some ask me if he can join us i ask if he had a teetime and he did not answer,I told him if no one join us he can teeoff with us.Then the weird thing happened after a long 3 hour front 9 waiting on every hole a guy after a turn asked if he can join us..Very weird situation,it pretty much mean course has no control of people just walking in and playing for free.This guy has done many times and course does not care.Too bad course condition has improved a lot but pace of play and course management is a joke.She will never play again unless management makes improvement

Course looked great despite all the current rainfall. Had a great time with some fellas and had no issues out there. Can’t wait to go back.

This tends to be a trend at Knollwood, they over book and never have a marshal or any kind of employee on the course to regulate the pace of play. There's never a starter and they do not announce what groups are up next on the tee. I started my round at 1pm and by 6pm had only gotten thru 15 holes and ran out of sun light to finish. As we drove back to the club house we noticed the second group ahead of us was nearly 2 holes behind.

When there are a lot of reviews saying pace of place is bad just listen to it. This has been the slowest round of my life.

We get to the tee and there are 8 people already on it. One group lies and says they have the same tee time as us and we check with the clubhouse and sure enough they are lying. We are halfway through and we are on pace for a 6 hour round with a really wet course. The course is okay and has some cool/tough holes but unless they do something about the pace of play DONT play here.

Yea I’ll come here to vent. Some of you people who recently took up the game, or others who have been playing for years need to get a clue on how to treat a golf course and your fellow players. Stop driving onto the fringe of the greens in your carts, go to YOUR golf ball while your partner hits his shot, don’t stand over the ball for 30 seconds before you swing, bend over and fix your ball marks and lastly have the decency to shout FORE! when there is absolutely nowhere to go because people suck at pace of play and you decide to hit into them. Yes, a group of four ladies were behind us and the first time when a tee shot landed nearby, I kept my mouth shut. On the very next hole, their tee shot strikes my groups golf cart and not a word. Let them have it and threw the ball into the woods. Got all the nice clothes and clubs and still don’t know the etiquette. Wake up or go back to a par 3 course to relearn some things. And lastly, I’m certainly all in for growing the game but not with clueless, entitled folks who have no respect for its traditions and rules.

Course was in decent shape. Fairway’s definitely have more coverage than in months past. Greens were rolling smooth just slower than usual.
