Decent public course but very SLOW.
Course is actually pretty interesting layout. Not in bad shape but it’s a public course so it gets a lot of play. Greens were nice. Rolled pretty true. Tee boxes weren’t bad either.
Pace of play however was horrible. 13 holes completed in 5 hours and we had to bail. I’m sorry but 6 hours for a round is not enjoyable. Maybe we got it on a bad day but this is the second time I’ve played there and spent half a day.

We were double booked for the same tee time by the golf course website. Caused confusion.

First time at the Knoll!
This is first time that I had played this course. I was playing with one of the Top Philippines Junior female golfer who was in the area for some world junior tournaments. The course was fairly decent. Enjoyed the lay out! Greens rolled fairly well. I am from San Diego so to make it an every weekend trip is unlikely but if I am in the area…I will play to course again.

Loved the course. I hadn’t played for a few months but man has the greens keeper team been working!!! greens were perfect rolling fast and hard!

Slow but fun
Like everyone else has pointed out, pace of play is slow...like real slow. That being said, I think the course itself is more interesting and fun than almost all of the LA muni courses.
I'll be back if I ever have time to play a 6 hour round.
