Royal New Kent Golf Club

Our 3some all seniors found this course in excellent condition. The layout and elevation change are demanding at time. Yet the course is very playable. The first time playing save a few strokes and drive forward to check out the lay of the land and study where you want to hit to. Playing the senior tees it is possible on several holes the green can be reached but are totally blind shots so if your a gambler have fun finding your ball.

Exciting, terrifying, shocking, and exhilarating. My friends and I still talk about a couple of the holes here. The whole course is an adventure from the hidden valleys of the fist hole to the Nike swooshing second hole. What an experience but we are still very much scarred. Play well and play smart or else...

Wish I didn't live 300 miles away. Played here on a stop off from NY to Myrtle. One of the best links courses I've ever played. Must play if in the area.

One would be hard pressed to find a sterner test ,this masterpiece never lets up .Greens are excellent with very few ball marks.. Absolutely a must play .

A real golf course. Wide fairways, but trouble lurks. Dramatic elevation changes and blind shots. Tricky greens! A great tough golf course!

Green rolled perfect!!! Only course in the area that has some grass in the fairway. Absolutely love this course!!! You won't be disappointed!!

If you like Mike Strantz designs this will not disappoint.

Risk and rewards, blind shots, tall mounds, challenging greens and lots of fun.

Course conditions were due to the excessive rain making maintenance a challenge. Work was being done as we played but with consideration to us. It is early season as well. A definite play again next trip through.

Tough course. Lots of blind shots. Not my favorite

From the first tee at Royal New Kent you can see it is a Mike Strantz design. I enjoyed the layout and the overall look. Plenty of waste areas and water to collect wayward shots. At the same time i thought the landing areas were wide enough to be forgiving on a lot of shots. Considering the time of year i thought the course was in really good shape and i am looking forward to getting back in the summer once it greens up and the rough starts growing in.

No matter how many times I play this course, it never gets old! It is by far the nicest course in the entire area ...better than Golden Horseshoe, better than Independence and better than Ford's Colony!

RNK, is unrivaled in this region for terrain and layout. You have to play this course to appreciate it. Hilly, unusual terrain and trouble spots, massive, numerous well placed bunkers, long, really challenging course. Scenic and fun. When you are in this area a must play,
