The greens are close to perfect. Some dirt patches around the greens,nothing major. Lots of sod being placed around the course shows the improvements that are being made. I will be returning many times this season

Challenging holes
This course provides several challenges: downhill greens that may send your ball into the water or another hazard, numerous bunkers. A big plus is the strategic placing of the restrooms. The carts have water wells to clean clubs and balls. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is charming.

Good course even after rain
It was rain on previous day but course condition was really good. So, surprisingly, the curt ware able to enter the fairway without damaging the grass.
Myabe due to cold weather in spit of late April, pace was awesome! There was Almost no waiting time. So, we have plenty of drinking time with friends!!

Great Course
I booked the course via Golf Now. I arrived to the course and was immediately attended to. The course was in great shape for this time of year. The pace was great and the layout was fun and challenging.
I would definitely play here again when in town.

Great Day ..awesome pace of play
Course is in great shape coming off the early wet spring. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.. Pace of play was outstanding for a Saturday. Definitely on must play list for Williamsburg area

Nice Layout, But They Need to Do Some Work
I haven't played Kiskiack for 3-4 years. I've always liked the layout--a nice configuration of risk-reward holes. I had a coupon and glad I did--if I had paid the $59 rack rate, I would have been upset. The course is really not in good shape. It was cart path only due to the overnight rain, so there were certainly areas that didn't drain well. But, there were a lot of areas which were ground under repair--fairways, bunkers, and even around cart paths and ponding. Additionally, they had aerated recently, and the greens were still trying to recover. I noticed grass around some of the holes was not even cut and trimmed. It was a beautiful day and with the reduced greens fees, it wasn't too bad. But, it will be late Summer or early Fall before I try it again. They really need to complete work to get this course back into shape.

Fun but condition could be better
Enjoyed the course. Layout is really fun. Course was in tough shape. Greens were recently punched and bumpy. Not quite worth the cost at the time.

Very Average Course
I just played this course and I want to start by saying I worked in Mid South Golf Club in Pinehurst so I know high end courses. For $50 this course is not worth the money. The staff was definitely friendly but when it comes to the Golf Pass Perks they didn't really want to give them. They guy at the desk said he didnt think the were still doing the deal and then when I made the turn I stopped to get food and use the 20% off. That did not happen. I was first told that she was told not to give it and then she said oh it's only in the pro shop... Which I dont know about everyone else but what am I going to eat in there? Golf gloves? She also then told my I was not allowed to eat in there due to making pace of play off (I was a single so I wasn't slowing anything down.. Played in 3.5 hours) overall I wouldn't recommend this course for the overall price and not giving the perks they are advertising on GolfNow.
