Kiskiack Golf Club

Fast and sometimes unpredictable greens. A couple of tough drives over water hazards and many sand pits near the green. Enjoyed every moment. Note: Tee time was around 1:40 pm and played 18 holes.

Course in great condition- nice challenge but not too difficult

I’ve played many courses in this area. Been playing here since 1979, and this course is without a doubt one of the best kept enjoyable courses I’ve ever played!!

Had a great day ! Course was in great shape. Pace of play was not very good. We were waiting about 5-10 minutes per shot on front nine. At the turn we asked to replay front. Played in 1.5 hours. Didn’t see any on course help to keep slow groups ahead moving. Other than slow play, it was a great day.

Good course overall, it had been raining leading up to the day I went but the greens were in really good condition. Good mix of par 4/5 the doglegs aren’t super difficult and offer some confidence if you layup at the bend.

A nice experience and good value. Great condition and friendly staff. Course in good condition with fast well manicured greens. Good layout and fair. What you see is what you get. No hidden hazards. Would play some holes different as it was my first time but it was a nice experience.

I always try and play this course a few times a year because it’s so different than all the other courses around. The course was in really good shape even though the greens aren’t fully back from being aerated (maybe 3 weeks ago?). It’s not a lengthy course but always plays a bit longer than the scorecard reads, and that’s without the wind being a factor. Great scenery, lots of undulation, and well groomed. I will be back once the greens are completely healed!

Course was in good shape. Bunkers need a little work

Went to Williamsburg for some golf with a group (4 couples) and played 2 of us played Kiskiack. The staff was very friendly and welcoming (unlike another course we played that week). Since this was in early April they had just aerated/sanded the greens so we didn't expect much. It was challenging and the scenery was amazing. We will definitely have this course near the top of our list when we return to the area.

Playing KISIAK requires strategic ball placement on a number of holes. That’s the challenge here. There are many sand bunkers and they’re definitely in play. Greens were aerated but fast and smooth. As always, it was a fun and challenging round!

We played in the rain but we enjoyed the course all the same, will be back to play again when the weather is better. Looking forward to our next time at this course.

Normally in town twice a year on vacation and love to play the course. For the money, would like to see the bunkers better maintained. See you next time!
