Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Got there early pro shop let me go out early! Course was in great shape and staff is always accommodating!
Pueblo El Mirage
The fairways are gradually filling in with more grass but there are still bare spots. The greens were very slow and need closer mowing.
disappointed
why do some of these courses, including this one, just everything go to ....? Greens like sponge. Tee boxes not cut or no grass at all, fairways the same. I know the price is considered cheap, but this was not good.
Pueblo El Mirage
Greens were the worst I've played this summer in AZ. Extremely slow and bumpy. Not conducive to enjoyable golf. 4 1/2 hour round in the heat was unacceptable. Didn't see a single marshal on the course to help pick up the pace. Doubt that I'll ever play here again. Too bad - it's a decent layout despite the fact that it runs through a rough-looking housing development.
Good course
The course is in good condition for this time of year. The greens had recently been aerated so they were very slow and untrue rolling. Still a nice day for golf.
Nice course
I thank thus course for helping the Valley Vista girls golf team. Eric was very cordial and helpful. Had a good round. The course is undergoing summer spruce up abd recovery from a bid storm.
EL MIRAGE
Overall a fun track to play , one of my favorite layouts ever. Course is not in great conditions but it’s all playable unless you’re on TOUR . Course layout can be very challenging with OB sneaking in on a lot of holes , you visit the pro shop on the turn so it’s really easy and fast to get a bite and a drink before 10.
The people who struggle with the signs need better awareness, there’s multiple signs and even blue colored baths like a yellow brick road to follow. Courses like Quintero or Vistancia are very difficult to navigate , not little ol Pueblo el mirage
Back after a while
Staff was friendly. Golfers were also friendly. I trier but couldn't find the 4th hole. So I skipped to the 5th hole. I had the same problem with the 10th hole, couldn't find it either. After driving back and fourth I finally found a gate opened that lead across the street, then I saw the sign that read the 10th hole. After that all was fine and I finally finished my game. Signs would be a great improvement for new players and for returning player's who haven't played there in a while. The staff and the field workers were great.
Fun course and decent conditions for this time of the year…
I recommend this course because it is fun and challenging. Longer course than I am used to so I really had to rethink my club choices. Some water and a cute waterfall add to the ambiance of the course. I left my range finder attached to the golf cart upright. When I called them, it was saved at the office for me…thank you so much!
Fun to play here
I di recommend this course as it has some variety with sand and water both…but not too difficult for seniors. Enough challenge for my younger counterparts also. The fairways aren’t great at this time of year but firm and good ro. The greens are lightening fast!!
Decent for the price
Fast greens however they were kind of muddy. Driving range goes into a residential neighborhood. Hope you don’t have a long drive. Don’t have much for warm food. Just one hot dog roller. Good cheap beer. Lots of close houses next to the fairway.
I absolutely love playing at Pueblo Golf Course. I have some great memories here, particularly from playing a bunch this past spring and winter. The experience of driving out to Pueblo for a round of golf is something I always look forward to. The staff is consistently friendly, and it always seems to be a great deal.
I’ve gone the past couple of weekends, and while the course is typically enjoyable, it could be in better shape at the moment. The fairways are a bit rough. Given the current conditions and the summer heat, I will probably avoid playing here until after the summer. It generally feels quite dead throughout the day due to the high temperatures.
Despite these recent issues, I have many fond memories of playing at Pueblo. Once the summer heat passes and the course improves, I look forward to returning and enjoying it once again.
