Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club
About
The golf course at Pueblo El Mirage Golf Club is a challenging championship length course, but it is still suitable for all skill levels of golfer. The course features lush greens and long, rolling fairways. Lakes create water hazards that come into play on eleven holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course. The signature hole is the par-4 15th hole, which calls for a start with a straight tee shot to a tight fairway and then a precise approach over water to a tiered green. The Pueblo El Mirage facility offers a driving range and putting green as well as a fully stocked pro shop.

Ok for the cost
Decent course for the cost. Fairways are plain grass and pretty hard. Greens are very fast and hard. Staff was friendly and the pace was pretty good.

Playability
Sand traps much improved. Greens have some issues, dead spots and many were bumpy, some were really nice. Many tee boxes were in need of water to soften them Overall the course was very playable for the price.

A Fuzzy Zeller design
A Fuzzy Zeller design in El Mirage of all places. The course is very playable and the layout is reminiscent of some of the finer venues on the tour were it not surrounded by manufactured homes and RV's. Bottom line, the best value for your dollars in the west valley.

The lay out is good pace of play terrible 5 hour round a lot of golfers playing wrong set of tees course is worth 45 at the most and I know it’s expensive for the upkeep of a course but conditions could be a lot better

Water your course
Course grass was dry and dead. Fairways in terrible shape for the most part and greens seemed unkempt. I like this course and would recommend it but not till it is in better shape.

Pace an issue
Knew what I was getting myself into from a course condition standpoint but the pace was an issue. Course is in an RV/mobile/modular home community and the first tee was treated like the local watering hole with people mozying up at a leisurely pace and chattingit up with their friends ahead of them and behind them. Staff tried to announce who was on the box to get people moving but round still started 20 minutes late. Then the round itself took about 4:45.

Fun Course. Need a little maintenance. Distracting homeowners.
I always enjoy playing this course. It is fun yet challenging. Overall it is in decent condition however they seem to be having a water issue. All of the lakes are very low and the fairways could use some water. Not bad but not great.
Greens have some really bad spots where the mower cut too short or the grass is just dead. Tee boxes are difficult to put a tee in and some are mostly sand. I like to hit off grass on par 3 holes but have to use a tee on most of them here.
The residents around the course can be a nuisance but most are very friendly. Aside from the fact that Sunday seems to be maintenance day it isn’t too bad. Lots of blowers, saws, etc.
No major complaints though. Can’t beat the winter rates.

Tournament was going on
Pro shop never said anything about a tournament going on. Didn’t even get to finish 3 hours to make it to the 11 th hole. I would hope they would give me a mulligan on my next time playing at this course. I would hope the would offer me half off on my next time playing there.

First timer
It was the perfect course for my fam to play on. Nice layout, and we didn’t feel rushed. We allowed several groups to pass, no problem. Others were also helpful in helping us navigate our way around the course. Super casual feeling with no course attendants looking down our throats. Kids enjoyed it, so that’s all that mattered. Will be returning for more.

Disappointed
The course is in very rough shape. Not much grass, prairie dog mounds and mud spots. Not worth the money.
