About
Designed by Scott Miller, this course is located in the southeastern foothills of the McDowell Mountains and is an innovative departure from the “target” style courses constructed in the desert in the recent past. Its layout takes advantage of a variety of land features: rolling hills, ridgelines, lush valley and washes, with a backdrop of prominent mountain outcroppings. In many instances, long extended views into untouched desert landscapes and area landmarks, such as Camelback Mountain, will be afforded. It is a strategic design, which asks the player to make choices relative to skill level.

A great course with a good test of your golfing ability…..with minimal carries unlike other desert courses. Friendly staff with good clubhouse/restaurant meant very enjoyable visit….played three times this holiday!

Course in great shape. Surprised they did not have GPS in the carts.
Amazing Place
This place rocks! You step on the first tee and see it's legit. Beautiful golf course, practice and bar/grill. Will be back soon for certain.
Amazing
This was a great course to play it had rained the night before so the weather was great the course was pretty wet but a great day all around definitely recommend this course
Hot Sunday
Overall fantastic experience. Staff was very nice, but the starter was excellent…took time to talk with us and give us some course insight.
Course well maintained and in excellent shape for this time of year. . Pace of play good, which brings me to my complaint,
Group behind us were very impatient…we waited on pretty much every hole for group ahead of us to clear, yet the group behind us were pushing us…where we going to go? Can’t push the group ahead of us as I believe they were waiting on group ahead of them.
Crazy that people are in that much of a hurry to golf…finished in 4:10, which I thought was good as course was very full. I’d definitely play again if given the chance.

Sorry to be a bother when calling to check availability for a foursome next Sunday and then inquiring on the rates ? Definitely out of line and I obviously wasted of your time .

Great Track
This course winds thru a beautiful community of very expensive homes. That adds to the scenery that you shouldn't be paying attention to.
You must be in decent shape to deal with the slopes and high terrain.
The course is a lot more fun when the weather isn't so hot.
Beautiful & Challenging
So this course is amazing and the views of true valley incredible. Very challenging, a variety of shots needed, uphill, downhill, side hill. Course is in great shape. Even the greens which were aerated were better than expected. Slightly long but rolled a little slower than normal, but good given this time of year. No GPS in cart. Cat the cart lady is over the top great. Round was 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
Great time here
Super friendly staff. Course is amazingly beautiful with great views of the valley. Very challenging course layout and fair from any tee set. Bunkers in good shape, greens rolled real nice. Cart girl was fantastic with lots of beverages. Such nice people here.

We play here fairly regularly. Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were rolling well although slightly on the slow side.

Thank you for the review. We have tried GPS in the past but the cell phone signal is very weak on the back nine due to the mountain and just doesn't work well.
