About
Nestled within Fountain Hills, the course at the Desert Canyon Golf Club offers a championship course with a variety of elevation changes with views canyon and mountain views. It is a desert-style course with some elevated tees and open fairways that play tight with a few doglegs. Water bunkers come into play on a few holes as well as numerous well-positioned sand bunkers. From nearly every hole on the golf course, views of the signature fountain in Fountain Hills, which is the world's tallest fountain at 550 feet, can be seen.

Great morning
4 hour round, beautiful AZ weather, paired with nice folks
Good course and conditions
Overall course was in good conditions. Shorter but with challenging greens and approach shots. Scoreable if short game is dialed in
It was a nice course but I expected the condition of the course to be in better shape for the price of a round. The course was very dry and did not have the same top of the line polish as other courses in the area for a $100/round course.
Carts need repair
Cart was a major aggravation, barely moves even though it’s charged and pace of play was terrible. Waited on every shot!
Course is in good shape and restaurant is good but almost 5 hours to play is ridiculous
Great Friday
Slowed down at the end, but course is in fantastic condition!! We will play.again soon.
Vacationing
We had perfect weather and the course was in great condition. Front nine is a nice starting nine, back has more elevation and interesting holes. Fun day...paired up with 2 great guys that made it fun to play and they knew the course well which was a bonus. Hot dog stand at the turn was conveniently located and friendly staff. Great day! Will definitely be back.
Good Overall
This was my first time playing this course. Course was in very good condition. Pace of play is excellent, and the Marshall on the course is very much appreciated. Some of the greens are elevated, which creates a welcome challenge. Starters, club/cart guys very friendly and helpful. Practice range is decent. Overall, I liked it very much and we will be back.
Driving range is short but boy is this course great. Every hole is great, not the hardest course but will test you for sure. I was very impressed for the price point, I myself look at these reviews to see what other people say about the course so I’m doing others a favor, go play this course if you can.
Excellent course well managed and kept. Highly recommend. I am a beginner and felt very comfortable playing this course.
