Desert Canyon Golf Club

When we booked the reservation they did not let us know that it was in terrible condition and they were overseeing. The course was in unplayable. My mother was visiting from Chicago for her birthday. This ruined her birthday round.

There was also hardly any staff on. They had no cart girls running.

When I mentioned our disappointment to the staff/pro shop. Nothing was offered in compensation or rain check round.

I will not be playing this course ever again.

Fairways & greens above average for July, but lots of sand in areas in front of most greens - don't hit it short.

The course is in excellent condition and it was a hot windy day, so was not to bad.

For the money this course was a great place to play. Staff was helpful, course was challenging and the views were great.

Overall, this was a fun course to play. Lots of opportunities to rip it, but balanced with some required precision. We would definitely play this course again. We finished in 3.5 hours. It also helped that buddy in our foursome got a hole-in-one on #2. :-)

I play this course at least once each year. I enjoy the challenges of rolling, sloping hills and dog legs. It also has spectacular views of the surrounding area. The experience for the money is well worth it.

Great views, challenging greens, varied elevations, very well maintained

Course and greens were impeccable!! Play was a little slow on some holes but nothing to impair the play. Overall a very nice course I'll play again.

This was well worth the drive. For lower handicap women there is lots of fun to be had with a combination of short, easy holes and tricky, uphill greens. Beware the greens sloping away from the front to back. The course condition was good for the time of year and considerably better than other public courses we had played. Wish the gold tees had been rated for women.

The course was in good shape and the pace of play was fine. The layout just isn’t our style. Narrow curving fairways with many elevation changes and a lot of uphill greens sloping back to front. The fact that it was really windy didn’t help either. We seem to generally prefer more classic layouts. If target golf with a lot of elevation changes is your thing than you’ll probably have fun.

Majestic course nestled in Fountain Hills. Challenging course, greens are near perfection. Highly recommend.

This was a well maintained ciourse that was fun to play!

Course was in excellent shape (greens and fairways). Pace was a little slow but only because of an event in front of us. Even with that we finished in around 4 hours. Played here several times and always had a good experience.

The pro shop was kind to let us tee off earlier than our booked tee time, However we waited on every hole and it was evident that the group in front of us was two holes behind.They allowed us to play thru as we were a twosome however on the 16th hole there were three groups waiting to tee off,on 17 the same and on 18 there were four groups, seriously what the heck , there was no Marshall and watching the first group out of four tee off I realized that they were likely the culprits.There is nothing worse than slow play especially for,the money you spend.

Course is in very good shape. Some fairways are cut a little short. Quite a few ball marks on the greens. Scenery is amazing. Plays longer than the yardage.
