About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Disappointing conditions for Legend at Arrowhead
Played Legend at Arrowhead on Nov 5 for the first time in a while. Golf carts were new-looking electric EZ Go units, so this was good. Disappointing conditions on the course however. Course has been overseeded and was 90 degree rule when we played. Grass conditions throughout were poor. Green conditions were not good. The really big drawback was the large number of geese on the course and the mess they are leaving everywhere.
Based on this experience we won't go back any time soon.
Greens are VERY nice and true
1st time playing at this course. Friendly staff, good course layout, greens were awesome. Could use new sand but still very playable. Great relaxing area to sit at bar overlooking water.
Rough abnormally long
Crazy to spend so much time looking for ball in tall rough when it is only 2 feet off the fairway. So it really slowed play down when we had to constantly look for ball grass was 4 to 6 inches deep and ball just sank to the bottom
No information provided on GolfNow, cart path only and no rough areas have been mowed. Terrible golf experience in those conditions.
Thank you for your feedback. As indicated in the booking window, there were four areas clearly marked as "Cart Path Only" and "Overseed Alert" prior to your reservation. Regarding the condition of the rough, several factors have contributed to its current state, and we have already addressed them. We anticipate that the rough will be mowed to the appropriate height by next weekend.
Could be a great course
I haven't played here for about a year because of pace of play. It's a nice course but when the group in front of us is slow and there is nobody ahead of them a ranger needs to move them along. The rough was about 6 to 8 inches deep just off the fairway which was silly. Your ball was sometimes unfindable unless you were looking straight down at it. The group behind us hit into us twice and jumped ahead of us and the group that was holding us up. Management needs to step up.

Legend at Arrowhead
I heard the course is going private, so I wanted to play it possibly for the last time. It was in very good condition and since I played in the afternoon I breezed through the course with not many golfers out there. Layout is fun and they’ve got it in good shape before overseed.
As of right now, our goal is to be private by January 1st, however, this is not definitive at this time. We also have great membership opportunities with Arrowhead Country Club which will include The Legend at Arrowhead. We're glad you enjoyed the course and its condition. Thank you for the kind words!
Great Round
Course in great shape - worth the green fees. Couldn't believe I was playing in mid-August in AZ - the weather reminded me but the course looked like April/May.
Want to go back soon.
1st Time Playing and Very Nice Course
First time out here and had a great time. 4-1/2 round on an interesting track. Nothing boring about this course at all and you get to use all your clubs. Tees and Greens were in very good shape for summer with just a few worn spots on the fairways. They even had sand in the traps...lol. Will definately play this one again.
Good course, enjoy my rant on the weirdos we were paired with
Course was nice, can’t knock that. A little pricey for a hot early August day in AZ. Got paired with a member and her guest. They were bound and determined to speed run the front 9. Thank god they didn’t play the back, just disappeared. Felt like an act of god. My buddy and I weren’t slacking by any means and go out of our way to practice basic course etiquette be it at a dirt fairway muni or an uptight ritzy course. They weren’t happy we weren’t also scrambling, so they just started playing like I wasn’t even there if I missed a fairway. Full grown man racing to the next tees just to wait on the party ahead of us before we finished the hole with no pressure behind us. Good course but bring a full foursome or expect the typical west side weirdos.
