The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course

WOW! The course is getting better and better each day. Greens are rolling pretty good. The proshop and outside services staff are great....very engaging and nice. On the other hand, the bar tending staff (doesnt matter who it is) are unfriendly, seem to want to go home, and frankly are just a bummer to be around. For the price of drinks there, they should be doing back flips. Maybe take a lesson from 500 Club bartending staff.

Love the design of this course.

Very friendly

Played in afternoon. Done in 2 1/2 hrs. Skipped 17 as I caught up with foursome and just wanted to finish.

I called the Proshop on the first green and the young lady working said I could get a rain check and finish my round. It was going to be 115°. We are already late because a group jumped in front of us at 5:30am. Coffee wasn’t ready, and when we made the turn staff joked about how it still wasn’t ready. We waited on the back and quit after hole 12. We finished it would’ve been a five hour pace. Somehow group snuck in front of us at the turn. There is no golf course Marshall there is no beverage cart and we never received a rain check. When I contacted the staff to try to receive a compound, they had no clue what I was talking about.

Haven’t played here in years, played the other day and it was in good shape. No real issues. Not a lot of shade or water stations, no ball cleaning stations. Range looks a bit rough but has a good setup for practicing. The bathrooms had mini-splits so they were nice and cool. They did have a big water station with ice but not many of them. It’s a good course with some challenging holes that’s in pretty good shape. Bring water bottle.

We really like playing here. Pace of play is always great.

I played this course about three weeks ago and the condition was horrible......greens barely had any grass. I played the course this week and a huge improvement. The greens were recently aerated, but you can see the grass on the greens filled in fringe to fringe very nicely. I suspect the greens will be top notch the week of July 22. Definitely worth playing now.

The course is great - lots of water holes, very scenic, plenty of challenges. The greens had recently been aerated which is the only downside of current conditions.

Greens were in horrible condition. I haven’t seen greens that bad at any other course in Arizona, fairways have dead spots more than actual fairway, bunkers aren’t sand it’s just rocks. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play this course again let alone $45?!?

Get there early and enjoy a great round. Cold beers await you at the clubhouse on 19!

I’ve played this course multiple times before. It is one of my favorite layouts and has been in good to great shape in the past. Yesterday the course in bad shape with weeds taking over the rough, huge dirt spots in the fairways and the most all greens had issues.

I’m going to give the course time to recover and I will be back because it truly is a great course.

This course covers a lot of acreage!! No two layouts are the same, every hole has its challenges.

Well maintain, and does require your "A" game. Duffer friendly on several holes, as well as birdie friendly, small greens.

I could play this course everyday!!

The greens are unplayable due to some obvious damage done to about half the front nine greens and several on the back nine. Would not recommend anyone go there until they are repaired. The layout is terrific and the staff working were helpful and polite.
