The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Snow bird.
Very nice layout but a little rough conditions. Sand traps were compacted and nearly unplayable. No map on scorecard so couldn't tell where many water hazards were.
The course conditions were terrible
we played Arrowhead 3/29/21 and conditions were terrible. The fairways were acceptable ,bunkers were like hardened clay , grass off fairways was non existent. All the greens were in need of help. We played in afternoon and saw 2 people playing. I am glad I got a hot deal and didn't pay full price. I was told It was changing ownership and would be putting money back in the course but that would be in the future. I hope so because I think the layout is great. For now don't waste your money.
Unbelievably bad pace of play
Our tee time was 2:38, started around 2:55. It literally took us 2.5 hours to get through the first 5 holes. Not close to finishing 18 before sunset. There were multiple groups in front of us stacked up against each other. This course was so overbooked. The course is nice with well groomed, fast, hilly greens, but the abysmal pace of play ruined it.
In PHX for a couple of days.
Staff was super friendly, got pair up with two regulars, it made the course a good time . We flew through 10 holes at 7am. Huge golf out slowed us down on the back 9 but I knew that ahead of time . Bunkers could use some work. Other than that I would definitely play again when I am in town. The staff was outstanding and very helpful.
Pace was slow, normal 5 hour round in peak season, greens were in good shape, course is a little rough around edges, some of the rough edges hard pack dirt off the fairways. First hole fairway had a lot ot range balls in the fairway, lost my first drive in a sea of balls in the fairway. I looked for about 5 minutes but didn't want to hold up play so I dropped another and moved on. Fair but challenging layout was enjoyable
Bunkers need attention
Too bad about all the “goose poop” all over the course
Rough needs watering
Really really slow
Wow. Everything was fine except the 5.5 hour round. At one Point we were stacked up four deep on the Teebox. Marshal said”nothing i can do when the shop puts them out every 10 minutes. And so began the blame game.
Great day!
The course was in great shape except for the sand which I heard was being replaced. Greens were fast and unpredictable which was fun.
This could be a great course
Course has great potential but management is lacking and conditions are terrible fairways inconsistent, greens kept too long and the sand traps need filled in and grass planted. Traps are harder than the cart paths. They stacked up tee times that lead to slow play. Tee time was 1:37 got off at 2:15 and finished in the dark! Three years ago this was an awesome course but now not so much
