The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Good Value
The course is well designed for a public course and the green fees are reasonable.
The sand traps are really desert floor which are acceptable.
The course really needs a marshall to keep play moving.
Slow but ok
Dry, beat up a little but still a good day of golf. Friendly staff, had a sandwich for breakfast, better than mcdonald's. Overall I would recommend it.
a little disappointed
I play Arrowhead at least once a season, and this time it seems to have gone down a bit in quality. The starter told us that the sand is so hard to take a drop out of it. He was right. There is very little sand , and what there is is very hard. I think it would be helpful to have a marshal to keep moving things along. It was close to a 5 hour round. I'm sure I will play it again, as it is convenient to where we stay, but it may be a while.
Challenging Pin Placements
Start time was 8:37. Beautiful day. Fairways were gorgeous. Greens were fast and very challenging with pin placements near slopes on every hole. Overall, the course is challenging with water in play on many holes and bunkers guarding many narrow greens.
Great Golf Day
We were worried after reading prior reviews about slow play. The Marshall passed by on whole 11 asking if the pace of play was satisfactory and apologized about a slow twosome several holes ahead. We finished the round in 3 hours 20 minutes, amazing!!! The greens and fairways were in great condition. Staff was friendly. We will return!
Nothing but slow players
Slowest round I've played in a while. Took 9 holes for the group in front to finally allow us to play through. No ranger in sight to tell people top hurry up.
Legends
Pace of play was terrible. Bunkers were ridiculous. The layout is beautiful. Great location and would be much more enjoyable with sand in the traps and speedier play.
First time.
Read reviews on bunker conditions and they were dead on. If they don’t want to maintain them properly with enough sand then plant grass. Waiting on every shot the whole day wasn’t enjoyable. For a Saturday pin placements were too difficult to try and speed play up. On the plus side, the practice area was great, and although the course beat me up i want to go back to exact my revenge!
First Time on Legend
The fairways and greens were in great condition. However, I would not recommend playing this course until they fix the sand traps (there was no sand in the traps, just hard pan). The greens were in excellent condition but very undulating. The pace of play was really really slow. There is no way that it should take 5 hours to play a round of golf on that course.
So-so course
You get what you pay for. It's cheap. The greens were terrific. There was no sand in mot of the traps. The tees were in bad condition. Many of the ball washes had little or not water, and none had towels.
nice course but.....
pace of play WAY too slow and poor handling by "player's assistant". Badly in need of sand in the greenside bunkers.
On the bright side the fairways and greens were excellent
