The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Super slow
Parking terrible way too small and crowded. Staff friendly and helpful. The speed of play just terrible today. Beautiful day just couldn't finish only played 9 every single hole was backed up.
For the Birds
There is soooo much bird poo that is almost us a health issue. The tee boxes have it everywhere and on most of the course. Be sure to bring hand sanitizer.
What a shame considering the natural beauty of the course.
The golf paths are also in disrepair as well as the trash areas.
Course needs help
They use garbage practice balls (use any crap balls they can find). Fairways and greens are good, everywhere else is dead grass and hard pan, and no sand in the greens.
November 29th
Tee time was 10:45, didn't tee off til 11:10. Had 2-3 groups on every hole and was NOT able to finish 18 holes before it got dark. They booked a tee time every 7 minutes!!!! There were not enough parking spaces for everyone.
On top of that, the staff charges you $15 extra if you want your own cart during this pandemic. They used to make you take your own cart unless you lived in the same house, now they upcharge you $15 if you want to be safe. Nowhere on the website does it say it's an extra $15, they hit you with that charge before you tee off. This used to be one of my favorite courses but management has gone downhill.

Needs a need management company
I have played this course several times over the past few years and everything seems to always get slightly worse. From the moment arriving at the course everything is so unorganized. The starter was good but every other staff member was below par. Bartenders make the worst drinks I have ever had and golf shop could care less if you have a good time. Goose droppings and ball marks covered many greens. In the future I will spend the extra few dollars and play other courses nearby!
Over booked and terrible etiquette from staff
Booked tee time a week in advance. The day started with the course being so over booked my group was sent out to first tee 10 minutes late. Starting at the second tee box we not only waited on the group in front of us to tee off but the group in front of them as well. After it took 3 hours and 15 to play 9 holes we realized it was getting too dark to play the back half of the course. Went into the pro shop to see if there was anything they were willing do to compensate us for our loss due to their inability to probably schedule and inability to maintain proper pace of play. Everyone we spoke to from the cart boys to pro shop staff passed the blame onto the next level employee/ higher up. No one was every willing to even hear out our frustration and was extremely unprofessional. I’ve played this course a minimum of 50 times but do not plan to return in the future.
Goose poop everywhere, bunkers were unable to hit out of because no sand and tee boxes were no level.
My round took about 5 and a half hours cause tee times were late and groups ahead of us took too long to traverse each 9 holes.
Disappointed
The staff, driving range, chipping and putting greens, the course it self was all good. The sand traps were very poor with very hard sand. The pace of play was horrible, tee times way to quick trying too get too many people out to fast. Slow play really affects my game and attitude. Will not play here again.
Nice Day to Golf.
Legend at Arrowhead is always a pleasure to golf at. From the ample amount of parking slots available to a courteous and professional staff, I will no doubt return to play again. The course is in great shape except for the greens. The greens had too many ball marks which actually affected my putting on about half the holes. Other then that negative comment I will no doubt recommend this course to others and play at this course again.
JUST A PUBLIC COURSE....
I'm an Arcis card prime member so I play this course frequently. Overall the layout and condition is good especially since they overseeded.
The problem is with everything else. Please don't mistake this course as a resort, they are far from it. From no toilet paper and paper towels in the "on-course" relief buildings, to the dirty bathrooms at the club house, the overall feel is just a public golf course.
Traps are just that "traps". There is no sand. The greens are filled with ball divots making it difficult to have a simple putt. Add the geese poop everywhere makes this just a public course.
One of the bright spots is Lynsey ( I hope I got her name right) in the grill. Always with a smile, attention to detail and the food she puts out is outstanding. Wish she was running the golf course.

Not a great course to play. Always In below average shape. I tried to give it another chance after not playing there in a year and a half. Just FYI. It is an ARCIS owned course. So, if you are a single, they will pair you up with a complete stranger in a Golf Cart, or you have the option of paying an extra $15.00 on top of your greens fees for your own cart.. Kind of poor decision making during Covid-19, and cases on the rise. As if Golf Courses haven’t been over charging during the entire year here??? I will not play another ARCIS course.
Good conditions
Course just came off overseed. The fairways had plenty of grass. The greens rolled well, maybe a little slow, we played in the afternoon. Bunker sand was a little thin but acceptable. It’s a great time to play this course.
Meh. Below average course
While the fairways were green as the over seeding took hold, the greens were disappointedly slow and furry while the traps were a muddy disaster. Add in a ridiculously slow pace of play, waiting on every hole, rude employees, and no water/beverage on a busy Sunday, I had a below average experience. Spending a few more dollars for a better course will be my approach for my next round.
