The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course
About
Located in the west valley, The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course (formerly known as the Legend at Arrowhead Golf Club) is an Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed golf course with a traditional layout. The challenging course has six lakes creating water hazards on many of the holes and several doglegs. The difficult to read greens are undulating and in excellent condition. Each hole, except for one, has bunkering on the fairways or protecting the greens. The Clubs at Arrowhead - Legend Course's signature hole is the par-4, 426-yard fifth hole. It calls for a shot off an elevated tee with water running along the right side of the fairway as well as next to the green.

Good course with challenges to even best golfers
Overall a great place to play golf in about 4hrs (was 3-1/2) hrs today. Only concern was bunkers are mostly hardpan bases and not enough sand for proper bunker shots, but rest of course was nice.
Good to Great
The course was in good shape on the fairways and greens. The rough was spotty and unpredictable. Overall good to great.
Average course.
The course was a little wet throughout the fairway and up to the apron of the greens. Since it hasn't rained for awhile it must be how they water the course. There were some areas that are very sloppy and wet. Had to play "lift clean and place" as the ball was caked in mud. Some greens were wet and soft others were hard. Very inconsistent. The greens were very thin and bumpy. The rough was dry dormant knobs of grass and weeds. Seems like the course is just being over-watered and the grass hasn't completely come back in again on the greens. It will most likely get better in the coming weeks.
Pleasant Golf
Eberything about this course was about 4/5. What I really liked was the fairly easy going environment there with the exception of the starter who was getting a little perturbed with some of the golfers who were not doing anything wrong....agreed it was a little traffic busy at the 1st tee. There could have been a bit more to offer in the restaurant, but the basics were there and the only girl behind the counter did a marvelous job managing everything including the cooking. Liked the layout of the course.
Upscale municipal course.
You get the feeling of a municipal course but with tough undulations on the fairways and greens. There are several holes where the lakes make it a step above your typical municipal course. Some very long distances from green to tee make it a challenge to walk. Definitely worth the price.
PRO SHOP STAFF AND GOLF COURSE WAS GREAT!
Great course, great conditions. The pace of play was awesome. The rangers and outside service rocked! BRIAN took care of me in the pro shop and he was the happiest and most sincere guy you could ever meet. I will definitely be back because of that guy! If you want great customer service and a fun time on the course come to the legend!!
Bunkers require sand
The par 3’s really need some softer sand to make the course playable and respectable.
Conditions are soft...
First time I have played this course where the pace was great. Did not have to contend with cart paths only navigation. Very disappointed with fellow golfers because of all the fairway divots and ball marks on the greens. Just about every time I filled in my divot, I also filled in 2 or 3 that were around it. The same was true on the greens, lots of unfixed ball marks. One item regarding their equipment, the sand fill bottle on the cart was placed at the back of the cart near the overhang of the roof. Pulling the bottle out, I often banged my hand, very annoying. It would be nice if they upgraded their carts....
Cart Path Only for a good reason
Yes there is lots of water at the Legend and with their overseed in full swing.....there is lots on the course itself and the traps...and you get the idea. And the geese love all this wetness and new growth so they are eating and fertilizing. Anyway, if you get the right price then this is tolerable. We golfed 6 holes in 1 hour and then spend 3 hours on the next 12....too bad.
Slow play
Overbooked due to Golf now computer problem booking 8 tee times at 11:00ish plus tournament played at 8:00 am during overseed cart path only. Three groups on ever hole and could not finish the round.
Looking forward to Next round.
The course is being over seeded so fairways and greens are a little rough at the moment. Cart path only slowed things down a little but not bad. Enjoyed the course. Looking forward to a round when the over seeding is complete and course is groomed properly. I will definitely play this course again.
