Palm Valley Golf Club - North/South

Played the courses last year. The course condition was worse this year. Not as good a shape; greens looked like they had a problem. The price had nearly doubled from the previous year, so the value really went down. A little over priced now for the condition. Food was good.

Round took 5 hours which isn’t terrible, but it should’ve taken 4. Two groups in front of us were Canadian and spent more time talking to the cart girl than playing golf. The cart girl spent almost the entire back nine following them around and even got out of her cart to walk with them. They were significantly behind the groups in front of them. Marshall would drive by and just wave without telling them to speed up. Why have a Marshall if they don’t do anything?

Fairways were in decent shape. Greens were very inconsistent. Tee boxes hadn’t been mowed and mirrored length of the rough.

Challenging layout, challenging greens. The tee boxes, fairways and greens were in good shape, some dry brown patches only. Greens roll try with lots of contour. Excellent practice facilities with unlimited free balls with your round and a large chipping putting area. A fair value although at the higher end for the conditions.

Last year we played Palm Valley and thought it was outstanding. In really good shape, awesome value for the price, and planned to play it 3 times his year.

Now the price has nearly doubled, it was in poorer condition (still ok but not as good), and we got got stuck playing cart path only. That was a killer as the cart paths are extremely far from the fairways. It took well over 5 hours and we were exhausted due to all the extra steps it took to play. We cancelled our next tee time. I realize that the cart path only was an anomaly, but coupled with the price hike made it less than enjoyable. They should have lowered the price that day, but didn’t. Whatever happened that caused the changes from last year, I hope they fix it because now it is average at best.

The course was overpriced for the condition of the course. Carts were old and our two carts both stopped working. We were told they would let us know when cart path only was over. We were never told just saw that other people were told so we started on 18. Ugh! #needrefund way overpriced.

Course was in good shape!! The greens rolled true and the fairways and tee boxes were also in excellent condition.

The condition of both the north and south courses were absolutely deplorable.

There was little or grass on the greens, the tee areas were hard and difficult to put a tee in the ground and many of the bunkers were not raked at all. For the price ($150.00) it was ridiculously overpriced.

The staff is very helpful and friendly.Played South and West courses.The greens are in great shape and are a little small so your aim needs to be sharp. The water holes on West are tough because the fairways are narrow.

Course was in great condition. And the staff was really nice!

Course conditions were subpar for the cost. Greens were inconsistent and long. The overseed on the greens were thin and not good which made for slow green speeds and untrue ball roll.
