Consistently Maintained
Excellent course layout coupled with excellent maintenance of greens and fairways.
Pace of play
To no fault of the course, pace of play on our front side was painfully slow due to 1/2” of rain the night before and carts were allowed only on the cart paths. Our second nine was much faster as the two groups in front of us on the front were playing their second nine. Therefore we didn’t wait at all and played the second nine in 1 1/2 hours.
We started our round approximately 45 minutes late waiting for two groups coming off the front. I was told that we needed to wait for these groups even tho, I believe, there was no one on the first West tee our front nine.
Traditional course
Palm Valley has 3 nines, we played the north/south combination. I believe these are the original 2 nines. The course is more of a traditional golf course - trees and grass not a desert course. The first fairway was a little burned out, it concerned me but the rest of the course was in good condition. The fairways and greens have plenty of slope. It will take a few plays to figure out the best landing areas. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
course condition
Having played the course on previous trips, we were disappointed in the condition of the course. The fairways were dry and bare in some areas. The greens were very hard and difficult to hold. Prior rounds the course was much lusher, making it more enjoyable.
Great Golf
This is a very good place to play. Everything was in good shape - some places were a little muddy and wet but overall the course conditions were really good. Every person we spoke to was cordial, helpful, friendly. We'll be back.
Palm Valley West/North
Nice course but it could use some watering. Most of the fairways have pock marks. We used winter rules.
Satisfying Round
Course was in great shape and all the amenities were well maintained.
Great Golf
Palm Valley has always been a great place to play golf. The greens are in very good condition. The fairways need some attention but overall it’s a great place to get 18 holes in!!
Good not Great
Course definitely gets a lot of play. Greens rolled and the fairways were in decent shape. Bunkers barely had any sand in them and were wet. Not a bad track for the money. Caters to all players and abilities. Back nine of the South got held up as there at 27 holes that overlap & groups cut in front of each other at the turn.
Just ok....
Ladies tee boxes are horrible, slow play and no beverage cart! Doubtful we will return!

Very friendly course
First time playing and course offered great visual for nearly all holes. Course, especially the greens were in very good shape. Would definitely play again
Nice course
The course was fun, but we had a really slow foursome and the marshall came on the 17th hole but didn't seem to have said anything. The bunkers are mainly rock solid, but still enjoyed the round.
