Palm Valley Golf Club - North/South

The fairways are water-logged, too soft to compress a ball off of. The greens were punched recently and are going through their usual summer shaggyness. Give it a few weeks before booking your tee time here.

Was a great course, well maintained. The Fairways were nice and green for as hot as it was. The greens were well manicured too. Will definitely play here again next time in AZ.

I know times are odd. But you gotta get a ranger take a pass or two from time to time. C'mon. Knuckleheads that teed off 7:30 were slower than snails. Their golf course etiquette was non existent. Thank goodness we played thru them when they were 1.5 holes behind.

It is still in goof condition. The greens was well maintained, pace of play was 3 hours. Will come back soon.

I have played Palm Valley Multiple time and normally this course is in great shape. Today was a different story. There were multiple occasions where I was penalized after hitting the perfect drive, ending up in dead/ hard pan. I understand that the times are difficult and transition was rough this year, but it was a little more than frustration. Greens were in good shape, and other than the fairways, most of the course was right on par.

I truly enjoyed this course. Everything is in great shape.

Hands down this is an awesome course. It’s green everywhere. Long enough and just enough to challenge you. Staff is great the price fits the course.

Course is pretty good. Some fairways were short of grass. Closes too early to even get a beer after your round.

We played here last year for the first time and had a great experience..so we had to make the return trip. Great experience again.

First group out so pace if play was not an issue. The course is in great shape. Fairways are forgiving and the greens roll true. We will be back as this is a top 5 on our list.

This course was pretty straight forward. Showed you what you had in front of you.

On my next trip I will look for this course at a Hot Deal but will go play elsewhere at the price we paid.

Kind of like a large round of putt putt. Greens have crazy undulations.

The man in the pro shop seemed irritated by our presence, the men at the club drop and the gals at the restaurant were some of the most pleasant and accommodating people I interacted with during my visit that consisted of 15 different golf courses.

For what you get for what it cost it was fun to play once. Unlikely I will be back.

Two negatives...

Slow play (4.5 hours) on Monday afternoon.

No drinking water in buckets.

Palm Valley Great Course layout and conditions were good pace of play was slow had 2 individuals playing the Tips and a slow couple in the Foursome in front that were 2 holes behind the group in front of them, the individuals that were playing tips shouldn’t have been there

Course was in great shape, greens rolled very nice. Fairways are fairly wide making for very golfer friendly. Great value, would definitely play again.

Some challenging holes makes you play the course and not just hit driver all day off the tee. Course in great shape greens are fast. Pace of play was great we did tee off at 8 by the time we finished it looked packed so pace of play later in the day will be slow as all courses this time of year. Saw a Marshall at least 3 times through the 18 so that may help later in the day.
