Wigwam Resort - Blue Course
About
The Wigwam Resort possesses three 18-hole courses, the Blue Course, the Red Course, and the Gold Course. All three courses were built on a rolling terrain with mature creeks sprinkled throughout and meandering creeks running through, which can all affect shots. The Blue Course is the shortest of the three courses but Blue plays long due to the elevated greens. The creeks create water hazards that come into play on several holes and there are also many strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course as well. The Wigwam Resort facility has various practice facilities including a chipping area and putting green.

Beautiful Day for Golf
The Course overall is in pretty god condition. However the Greens were very hard and fast today. Nothing would stick, and if there was any slope on the green the ball was rolling off. With all the rain we have had lately if was a bit surprising.
Fun time
Excellent experience
Course in great condition, staff friendly and helpful from cart attendant to pro shop staff to starter. Flat and short, but water, sand, and small, sloping greens make it a fun experience. Wide fairways with attractive surroundings. Definitely worth the reasonable fees.
Fun but can be challenging.
We had a lot fun playing this course and I would come back to play
Always fun.
Tricky greens and sand traps. The island green is a challenge.
We keep coming back!
Yes, this is a fairly easy to play course which provides many opportunities for pars and birdies making it very enjoyable. Having said that there are a number of very challenging par 3 holes where you must carry over water or there is a deep sand trap in front of the green. The course is beautifully manicured and the free use of the practice facilities prior to your round is very much appreciated. Staff members are very friendly and the on site restaurant has a good selection of item ps on the menu. Did I say we keep coming back?
Geese
The course is full of goose poop. Not sure of the AZ law but at my course in Illinois we have ways to control the problem.
Wigwam Blue Course
Greens were challenging! Some of the hole directions were a little confusing as to to where to go next! Fun course overall!
Great Day fun round
Played the blue course. Got there early and they put us right out. Had no ne in front of us went around in less than 3 1/2 hours. Course was in good condition, nice fairways and the greens were in good condition. Played with my wife and enjoyed the day. We had a little trouble finding some tee boxes, need to look for the secondary little signs to locate a couple.
Great Day with 1st timers to the Wigwam
What a great day to have a pass to play golf! I invited 3 friends that have never played there and we had a blast. The fairways were so awesome and the greens were great. I love playing there!
GreT place to play golf
Excellent place to spend our time in Arizona. Didn’t really like the members roaming around the course and just showing up behind you like Zombies. Besides that it was a great time..
.
Best golf Resort in AZ
The Blue resort is my favorite because it starts with 3 par 5s in the the first five holes. It’s in impeccable shape and is very rewarding with only a few hazards to start off! If you’re looking for a golf get a way in AZ, the Wigwam is a no brainer! They have three courses all challenging in their own way! In fact the Gold course is where the NCAA All Americans play in a tournament! Extremely challenging pin placements with lots of elevated greens! The resort has amazing amenities for the whole family, with lots of restaurants on property and near by!
Tricky greens
We like the course. Not too long but the greens are elevated and tricky to putt on. Lots of deep sand traps await errant shots.
Very happy with my pick
Excellent game for all my time playing it was great experience
1st time @ the Wigwam
Nice condition for early in the season, enough water hazards and sand to add some interest...blue course. We were short on time so weren't able to check out the restaurant but friends said it's good. GPS couldn't find the entrance, had to ask someone for directions.
