Wigwam Resort - Blue Course
About
The Wigwam Resort possesses three 18-hole courses, the Blue Course, the Red Course, and the Gold Course. All three courses were built on a rolling terrain with mature creeks sprinkled throughout and meandering creeks running through, which can all affect shots. The Blue Course is the shortest of the three courses but Blue plays long due to the elevated greens. The creeks create water hazards that come into play on several holes and there are also many strategically placed sand bunkers throughout the course as well. The Wigwam Resort facility has various practice facilities including a chipping area and putting green.

Summer golf
Course has dead great but greens were good little slow. Finished under 4 hours.
Transition
The course in undergoing a very rough transition period between grasses. Tee boxes are alright, greens are still bumpy, fairways are in rough rough shape. The good news is they spend some money and their sand traps have fluffy new sand. In the winter this course will be back to amazing and with the sand a cut above the rest. The unlimited range sessions helps too. I won’t play again for a while and winter prices are a bit much there but their practice facility is fantastic.
It’s been better
Just completed the over seeding. They probably should have waited another week or two before letting anyone play on it. Fairways had bare spots and greens were extremely dry. It’s been better.
The REAL complaint is the soccer ball players. Had two groups literally walk in front of me while swinging. They had no idea where they were going and just jumped around from hole to hole. Either they didn’t care or weren’t told what to do when encountering golfers that are hitting golf balls 100 mph. Very unsafe.
Wig Wam Blue Course (Patriot)
Wig Wam offers 3 different 18 Hole courses
We played the Blue (Patriot Course) Short Course designed by RT Jones. Small Greens, surrounded by bunkers. Mostly short irons with difficult greens. Bring your A game. Didn't play well myself but it is really an enjoyable layout, quick round under 4 hours on a Saturday
Lousy course conditions
When I booked my tee time they never let it be known the course was under construction they had aaerated the fairways and you would hit a good drive but you would have thousands of plugs and holes everywhere. Next the standing water was ridiculous throughout the course. Just horrible course.
Great course and price.
Course in great shape. Pace of play excellent. Friendly staff.
Fun layout
Perfect weather great course really enjoyed the layout small green so accuracy is important.
Will definitely be back
This course has great features
Great layout for the amateur golfer. very forgiving Fairways with challenging bunkers.
The Greens in the Tee Box were in pristine condition. I didn't see a brown spot on the entire course.
the staff in the Pro Shop for very friendly and very helpful we arrived 30 minutes early due to unexpected light traffic. they sent us out to the starter on the blue course who said not a problem you can see off now. that's what I call customer service.
We will be back thank you.
3 Hour Round!
Had fun at the Blue course today. Played from the black so challenging enough distance wise. All twosomes it seemed (including us) so we finished in 3 hours (Tuesday 11am tee time). Greens are nice and deceptively small so watch your distances into the green. Course in nice shape and appreciate the range balls being included.
Perfect day in May
It was a Beautiful day in May for a game of golf. The course was in great condition, the course was busy but pace of play was good. Cart service on he course and in he clubhouse was great. ,
Great course
Absolutely stunningly beautiful golf course. Loved how it was all grass everywhere and not desert golf. Balls hit OB or close to it were very easy to find! Hazards are hard enough for beginners but also challenging for the everyday player! Will play again!
Great Day On Wigwam Blue
I had not played the Blue Course since the renovation. I found a shortened version of the old Blue Course with many new or revamped holes. The course condition was very good but the layout was a bit like a resort course. I will opt to play either the Red or Gold in the future. Both are more challenging.
Quiet round
My wife and I payed a calming round together on a snappy pace. Enjoyable. Only negatives were my aching back and closed on course snack shop.
It was OK
Not great, but not terrible either. Short course w elevated small greens. Kind of dangerous with people hitting all around you. So many times we were held up by others playing other holes in our fairways. It was fine for the price but no bargain
