Wigwam Resort - Red Course

Great course in perfect condition. The 18th hole is the only downfall on an otherwise enjoyable round.

This course, I thought was a good value. Price on a hot deal was good. Fairways and greens in real good condition. Too expensive if you have lot play Rack rlate. Did enjoy the course, very forgiving for a 16 handicapper.

Coarse is in good shape. Greens true without many ball marks. Greens and T boxes a little hard. Over all decent if you can book it at a deal price, otherwise over priced.

So I played this the day after Estrella Golf Club. So I was excited to see sand in the bunkers. Maybe a little too much and too soft. After Estrella, I took too much sand on my first shot out the sand. It went 3 feet and I had a fried egg.

Marginal at best for the price. Greens fine, fairways rustic. Very slow play.

Very nice. Friendly staff and we’re lucky to get paired up with great company. Would definitely play again.

High winds and rain (last 3 holes) made it a challenging day. Tee boxes need some TLC, whereas fairways were in very good condition and greens were fast and rolled true. Sand traps had fluffy sand, while rough, though green, needed to be more dense with grass. Pin placements on ridges and hillsides added further to the complexities. Pace was good for first 9, but slowed on back; still just under a 4 hour round. Ranger was consistently making his rounds to ensure pace was being maintained. Good value, this time of year, was also welcomed. Always look forward to going to this Resort (even with 1+ hour drive), which boasts having 3 beautiful courses and always being well-maintained. Keep up the good work — it is noticed and appreciated.

Course was in great shape. Only pain points were no carts were available when we showed up (overbooked) and the pace of play was really slow, almost a 5 hour round.
