About
The Red Course (formerly known as Heritage Course) at the Wigwam Resort, which has received acclaim from Golf Magazine, is one of three 18-hole courses at the resort. Built on rolling terrain, the course features elevation changes that can affect shots. Mature trees are also scattered throughout to add beauty and another challenging element. Winding creeks form water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The Red Course is popular among locals familiar with the Wigwam Resort because it is considered to have the three best finishing holes in the area. Although walking is allowed on the other two courses, carts are required on the Red Course.

Great value
This was a great value while being cart path only. The layout provides you with everything, some short holes and plenty of big challenging holes especially the final three. Greens were a bit shaggy which you expect this time of year but overall conditions were great. Love the layout as well. Will definitely be back.
goose crap and restaurant
Way too much goose crap on the course extremely unsanitary
We ate in the restaurant and had the worst service I have had anywhere, long time to grt our order taken, food came out wrong, but server never checked in with us, we had to get up and hunt someone down to get food right and then again to get refills on drinks, Never saw the server again after he took our order
Lots of walking
Golf now has on there page 90degree rules and it is cart park only. CART PARH ONLY . Made for a rough day
Relatively short flat course
Newly overseeded, in good condition. Greens a bit slow but in good shape. Very generously sized fairways. Good place for those that spray the ball off the tee.
Not good
Changed blue course because of cart path only and wasn’t told at booking cart died on 22 hole and carried clubs for 4 holes until new cart arrived brutal
Fun and Well Kept Track
This course is usually in good shape and is very fun to play. You don’t have to be long to enjoy it, stay in the fairway and you will have a ton of fun.
Not handicap friendly!
At check in asked about handicap marker none provided,same with starter. Later in round ranger came an admonished me for for being to close to tee now I was in the rough 3to5 inches tall!
Tried to explain Not well recieved! Not likely to be back!!!
Late summer golf
This course is no different than the other courses in the valley this time of year. They charge too much when it’s over 100 degrees and the conditions are less than what they should be. The greens are extremely slow, the rough is higher than normal, and the traps are in the worst shape imaginable. Green fees should be considerably reduced under these circumstances.
Improving
Like the Wigwam, know they are in process of renovations, coild tell not to much done around the fairways grass is long, bunkers being redone, but had a good time for the $$, sure it will look Great after they get done
Red Course has seen better days
Pace of play was terrible, took 2 1/2hrs to finish the front 9… it eventually improved but the round still took 4 1/2hrs.
Bunkers were being redone which they failed to mention when I called them to ask about course conditions. The bunkers were literally covered in a hard black coating that the ball would bounce and ramp off. Very very strange.
Layout was fine just a little boring compared to the other courses at Wigwam. I’d recommend the blue or golf course over red.
Nice course... some bad players
I ran into some really slow folks, just one of those days I think.. Nothing the ranger could do about this, he did warn me before I teed off. The greens were in excellent condition. I was pleasantly surprised. Fairways and rough were generally pretty good. Staff was great.
