About
The Red Course (formerly known as Heritage Course) at the Wigwam Resort, which has received acclaim from Golf Magazine, is one of three 18-hole courses at the resort. Built on rolling terrain, the course features elevation changes that can affect shots. Mature trees are also scattered throughout to add beauty and another challenging element. Winding creeks form water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The Red Course is popular among locals familiar with the Wigwam Resort because it is considered to have the three best finishing holes in the area. Although walking is allowed on the other two courses, carts are required on the Red Course.

really enjoyed the course
first of all played TERRIBLE but.............. of the 3 wigwam courses this is my favorite one, enjoyed the course alot, fairways were in EXCELLENT condition greens good too with i think one exception which considering phoenix summer weather is impressive i love the price (love summer golf) and will play there alot until summer is over beautiful course, people from pro shop to starter to snack bar attendant to beverage cart were all very pleasant and accomodating, highly recommend

Heritage is a good time for a great value
I've played this course as a 3.7 handicap, and now as a 16. Playable and challenging for all.
Carts
Some of the nicest carts around. Green roll true . Hole number 18 a little odd. Nice pro shop. Nice homes around the corse
Grass
When did it become acceptable to have no grass on fairways? I don't ask for much, would just appreciate golfing on grass when I hit a good drive.
Poor condition
Have played this for over 10 years and it’s in the worst shape I’ve ever seen.
Not Bad
Course in good shape for this time of year. Tee boxes average, greens pretty good. Had a good day and will play again.
First time on Red Course
I’ve been avoiding this course opting for Gold, but I enjoyed the red, the fairways were nice and wide, greens were the best condition I’ve seen out here this year. Well done wigwam.
Great shape & great value!
The Red course has some funky holes, but it was in very good shape. The greens were a bit slower than the norm, but the rough had good grass density and I never had a bare lie around the greens, which seems to be the norm at 90% of the public tracks I’ve played this season. This was a well conditioned course. The ranger and starters were friendly.
