About
The Red Course (formerly known as Heritage Course) at the Wigwam Resort, which has received acclaim from Golf Magazine, is one of three 18-hole courses at the resort. Built on rolling terrain, the course features elevation changes that can affect shots. Mature trees are also scattered throughout to add beauty and another challenging element. Winding creeks form water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The Red Course is popular among locals familiar with the Wigwam Resort because it is considered to have the three best finishing holes in the area. Although walking is allowed on the other two courses, carts are required on the Red Course.

Resort course
Standard layout and not a beautiful course but in great shape and fun to play. Pretty easy.
Very Slow Greens
Playing Wigwam for the first time (the Red Course). Very traditional layout, with treelined fairways. Tee boxes were fairly level and maintained; fairways were in good condition; many sand traps were rocky, while others were wet; greens were very slow and appeared to have been sanded recently. Pace of play was good. Course was acceptable for a discounted rate from GolfNow. The real challenge was getting through Phoenix from the East Valley.
Golf Trip
I was golfing with 7 other guys on a golf trip. This was one of the nicer courses we played. All enjoyed the course. I am moving to Az and will put this on my list of courses to come back to.
Solid Course
Pretty straight forward layout. Condition was good from tee to green. Sand traps could use some refreshing but nothing too bad.
Great Course!
Fabulous course! Fairways and greens are in great condition. Pace of play was great. Would definitely play again.

Wig Wam
This was my first time playing the Red course, I have played the Blue course a couple of times. I have not played the Gold course, all 3 courses are in fantastic shape and the staff is very professional. I find the Blue course a bit shorter and is very senior golfer friendly. The Red had some challenging holes for the shorter hitters but was very fun to play.
