About
The Red Course (formerly known as Heritage Course) at the Wigwam Resort, which has received acclaim from Golf Magazine, is one of three 18-hole courses at the resort. Built on rolling terrain, the course features elevation changes that can affect shots. Mature trees are also scattered throughout to add beauty and another challenging element. Winding creeks form water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The Red Course is popular among locals familiar with the Wigwam Resort because it is considered to have the three best finishing holes in the area. Although walking is allowed on the other two courses, carts are required on the Red Course.

Recommend this course
The course was in Awesome shape. Greens were rolling fast and were in very good shape.
It helps when golfers fix their divots in the fairway and on the green. Past of play was good too.
Red course
We enjoy the course. Played with 2 locals that knew the layout which was helpful. Parking was scarce. Lot was full. Didn’t see sign for bag drop so I carried through parking lot. Otherwise golf was very enjoyable
Wigwam Red
Great course, unfortunately we were cart path only but we still played in 4 hours. We were not exactly sure where to check in since the parking lot was across the street from the course - so if you play it, leave your clubs in your car and go get a cart and bring it across the street
Greens True and fast
Greens were true and fast. In excellent condition
The course was flat and not much strategy involved. In great condition with wide fairways. Good course for having fun but not much thought in order to play. Greens while fast did not have much slope or tiers
Overall a bit expensive but I played it on waste management Sunday. It is Arizona golf in the spring.
Recommend this course
Course was in great shape, tees and fairways were in very nice shape and the greens rolled fast and held the green with a good shot. Great course to walk. 👍👍
We enjoyed our round
Everything was in great shape, greens were quick. They had a great practice area. Only thing I would say is they don’t have an open restaurant in the morning for breakfast, but they do have a Snack Shack available. Overall great resort course, would play again
Very nice
Pretty nice little course,,makes u feel good about ur game
Terrific Golf. Great Value.
Expectations exceeded all around. I highly recommend Wigwam Golf Course. Staff very friendly and helpful with directions with a first-timer. Course conditions were immaculate.
Good Course
The reason for the 4 out of 5 is for one reason only. Marshall on 16th hole came out and told us we were behind a couple of minutes, now let me set this up. 110 degrees, no one for 2 holes in front of us and no one behind us for 2 holes and they were a two-some. We were playing with "newer" golfers and since we weren't causing any back ups let them play their game.
Other than this hiccup the Red course is easy, wide and very playable. I'm retired, play 2-3 times a week and live on a private executive course. Been on vacation and hadn't touched a club in about a month so very rusty. The wide fairways are forgiving. Tee time was 6am and with the heat by the time we were done, we didn't use any of the facilities and headed straight home to jump in the pool. So can't comment on Wigwam other than the property is very pretty.
