Falcon Golf Club

About
Located near the Estrella and White Tank Mountains, the Falcon Golf Club is an affordable, user-friendly course with an interesting layout. The front nine has a target-style layout with a desert landscape while the back nine has a more traditional design. The greens are medium-sized with a subtle break and the fairways are wide open. Water hazards come into play on two holes and there are numerous bunkers as well, especially on the back nine. The signature hole of the golf course is the par-3, fifth hole. This notable hole has water to the right of the green and bunkers on the front right and left. With its location just south of Luke Air Force Base, fighter jets are regularly seen flying over Falcon Golf Club.

Spring Weekday
Great hospitality during checkin and at the snack bar.
Course has obviously been played hard this past winter; but even so, the greens were in very good shape and ran true. The course was a little dry - hard greens and rolling fairways, links-style fairways where bunkers for off-line drives can bite you. Good tee-boxes, gas-powered cart, and generally wide open fairways. Sand traps; 80% without sand, hard-pan release. A quick 2 hour 15 min round for 2-persons. 62 year old 15 handicap golfer off the white tees; a number of birdie-putts today; the greens are very reachable; will play the blues/blacks next time. Overall, a nice round for $25.
Quickly becoming my go to
I like to get around to a variety of courses but when I just want to get a round in this is becoming my go to spot. You can’t beat the price and the course is in good shape. Super fun layout. The staff go the extra mile and make sure we have a good time. My 10 year old is getting into the game and the course sets up nice for her also. Always a pleasure to play here. We will return again and again.
Good course for the price
Not overly challenging and not long but in good shape and the price is right to keep the swing in focus.
keeps improving
first time playing the course in about 6 months.... dead brush has been removed and the 6th hole is being remodeled. lots of golfers today.... probably mens club day... they just keep making upgrades little by little....
Nice start to Easter Sunday
Truly a hidden gem of the west valley. For the money you will not find a better track. A nice mix of challenges and well kept. The staff are very friendly and constantly striving to improve the course. The grass and greens are in great shape right now. Bunkers could use a little work but that’s pretty standard for these desert courses. This will continue to be a popular choice for my family and I.
Best Value in the West Valley
This course is close to my house so I play it somewhat frequently now after avoiding it for a while. The amount of people on here who say everything was good or above average and give three stars is mind boggling. Since the management change a little while back this course has been brought back to life. It’s a great track and kept in good shape. The people there really care about making it better and it shows all the way around. Has some nice challenging holes. There are several lesser courses in the area playing at a higher rate. Love the value and will be visiting again soon.
Great renovation!
The makeover was done beautifully, never seen it look better ! Fairways and greens in fantastic shape!
Falcon golf.
Great course if you are interested in a challenge round of golf. Had a great time.
Play this course
This course is in great shape, fairways and greens.
Very good value. I will definitely play here again before summer arrives
Very slow and no Marshall.
We had to go around the foursome in front of us. Obviously beginning and didn’t know golf etiquette concerning slow play. Front nine was in need of some maintenance. Back nine was much better. Definitely need to have a ranger or marshal to speed up play.
falcon golf
Nice little course. Great for first time golfers. Some bare spots here and there
Better than it has been
They have obviously put a lot of effort in to cleaning up this course and improving it's playability. Congrats on that.
The pro shop and concession staff were all very helpful and friendly with one exception. The younger blonde haired guy in the pro shop could use some help with personality and customer relations.
Falcon golf course
It's been almost a year since I last played this course. Since then there has been a tremendous Improvement in the fairways and the conditions of the greens. Fairways were in great condition with virtually no bare spots and greens were well-manicured and putts ran very true. I was very impressed with the improvement since a year ago. If you can't stand the sound of freedom, meaning noise of jets taking off, then you might look for another course. I will definitely play here again.
