About
The Gold Course is one of three 18-hole courses offered at the Wigwam Resort, which was named one of Golf Magazine's "Silver Medal Resorts." Golf Digest cited the Gold Course as one of the best public courses in the state. Mature trees are present on all of the courses, as well as winding creeks that create water hazards, which come into play on several holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course. The rolling landscape of the course causes elevation changes that can affect shots. The Wigwam Resort facility also has a putting green and chipping area.

Waste of money
A total waste of money. A beautiful course however,
Pace of play was super slow! 4 hours and we only finished 14 holes. Shocking that they had groups of 5 playing and we only saw a Marshall once and he didn’t do anything to get people to speed up.. Staff didn’t care that we didn’t finish our round. Saw the cart girl once thru the 14 holes.
Very disappointing for the money
Pleasantly Surprised
Course was in great shape and we managed 4:10 on a Saturday. Bring your approach game as greens are well protected and didn’t hold the ball very well. We’d go again.
Gold Course
Enjoyable experience overall. The resort transports you back 50 years. The classic course layout, tough greens, and perfect weather are hard to beat. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Driving range required the use of mats that were in bad shape.
Good condition and a nice layout.
Enjoyed our day at Wigwam. Played Gold Course. Different to play a tree lined course in Phoenix area. Prices are up everywhere this year ( Covid ). Will definitely play again. Hopefully the prices will be more realistic next year.
Great course.
Tha Hold course is in great condition. Greens smothe but challenging. Fairways in great shape. Looked like a fairly easy course to play, but I made it hard. Look forward to playing it again next time in town.

Fabulous course. Great condition, well designed, challenging green complexes. Very well priced for this time of year.
Great shape and great staff
1 hour frost delay and still had a great time. Pace of play was good. Greens were quick and true. Staff was all friendly and welcoming.
