About
The Gold Course is one of three 18-hole courses offered at the Wigwam Resort, which was named one of Golf Magazine's "Silver Medal Resorts." Golf Digest cited the Gold Course as one of the best public courses in the state. Mature trees are present on all of the courses, as well as winding creeks that create water hazards, which come into play on several holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course. The rolling landscape of the course causes elevation changes that can affect shots. The Wigwam Resort facility also has a putting green and chipping area.

"shag" greens
These were the slowest greens I have played in the Phoenix area. It did not appear that they have been mowed in quite sometime. In order to putt them effectively one would have had to practice on shag carpet. I played the course approximately two weeks earlier, and the greens were slow, but this was ridiculous.
Greens need more attention. Every other aspect of course was excellent.
Enjoyed my round
Well bunkered fairways and around the greens. Enough water to make it interesting. Tees for all level of players.
Quality course
Gold course was was in great condition and a challenging course.
Gorgeous course
Other than the staff handling phone calls, it was a perfect golf outing. Greens were a bit rough with a lot of Divet’s but the rest of the course is gorgeous
Great Shape
Played the Gold course, played from the orange tees. The course was in great shape, fairways nice and green and lush, the greens were also nice and full which made them a little slow. Staff was extremely friendly on arrival. I look forward to playing it again!!
Worth a visit
Wigwam Gold was in excellent condition. Very enjoyable. Pace was great. Looking forward to playing it again.
Gold Course Blue Tees
Paired with a very nice couple from Wisconsin that we enjoyed the day with very fun.
Nice course
Nice course in great condition. Only minus is fairways close together. You are always in a fairway but may not be yours. Lots of folks playing into your fairway.

Challenging and Fun
The course was in excellent condition. The greens were quick and pin placements very challenging. This course was tough in all aspects of the game, long and short. Bring your A game!
Looks like summer conditions in early march
Course was not in the best condition for this time of year. Already drying out with best up tee boxes and rock hard greens.
Great experience
Fun, challenging course. Great conditions and a cool layout. A playable RTJ course with all of his challenges. A couple of small elevated greens but fair. We will be back.
