Wigwam Resort - Gold Course

Challenging course, great layout and the greens were in wonderful condition fast but good. Go play legacy

Conditions are already turning from lack of attention. Burnt our fairways, etc. The course is mediocre at best. There’s lots of choices in the Valley. No need to have this one on your must play list.

Greens are terribly slow and fairways were sliced and burnt out

The middle of the fairways were like playing off a parking lot.

The overall course layout of the golf course is fantastic. Designed by Robert Trent Jones to test your playing ability - fairways set up nicely if you’re a long hitting but shot placement is still key to scoring well here. The only thing I had a problem with - and RTJ would be rolling over in his grave - was with how SLOW the greens were. For a championship course to have greens this slow is a huge disappointment. I would love to play this course again but they’d need to make the greens much quicker before I entertain the thought.

These were the slowest greens I have played in the Phoenix area. It did not appear that they have been mowed in quite sometime. In order to putt them effectively one would have had to practice on shag carpet. I played the course approximately two weeks earlier, and the greens were slow, but this was ridiculous.

Greens need more attention. Every other aspect of course was excellent.

Well bunkered fairways and around the greens. Enough water to make it interesting. Tees for all level of players.

Gold course was was in great condition and a challenging course.

Other than the staff handling phone calls, it was a perfect golf outing. Greens were a bit rough with a lot of Divet’s but the rest of the course is gorgeous

Played the Gold course, played from the orange tees. The course was in great shape, fairways nice and green and lush, the greens were also nice and full which made them a little slow. Staff was extremely friendly on arrival. I look forward to playing it again!!
