Wigwam Resort - Gold Course

About
The Gold Course is one of three 18-hole courses offered at the Wigwam Resort, which was named one of Golf Magazine's "Silver Medal Resorts." Golf Digest cited the Gold Course as one of the best public courses in the state. Mature trees are present on all of the courses, as well as winding creeks that create water hazards, which come into play on several holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course. The rolling landscape of the course causes elevation changes that can affect shots. The Wigwam Resort facility also has a putting green and chipping area.

Tough course
Great course to challenge any level of. All the greens are raised and undulating. Great test of golf. Greens are smooth and have good pace to them
Fun and challenging course
It is always a fun time to play at Wigwam. Greens are the biggest challenge especially if you get above the hole. Good variety of holes and tee boxes for everyone. Reds is a nice place to relax after the round.
Sleeper
Played this course at the end of April. Have played all over the Valley, this course is in the top 10% condition wise. Parkland style course with smaller undulating greens, worth the money all day long
Great course
The course is in excellent condition. It was a great day for golf. I always enjoy playing Wigwam gold.
Fantastic course
I play the wigwam courses all the time. They are usually in good shape and pace of play is as it should be. This round was no exception. Beautiful greens perfect fairways and a forgiving 1st cut. We played pretty casually and only saw one other group. All three courses are solid but gold is the funnest and most challenging. Price is right in the median of what you'd pay anywhere in the valley on a nice course in that condition. They do a great job out there.
Beautiful Course
Wigwam definitely stands up to the hype. The course received rave reviews online and we had a fantastic time.
First Time
I had much higher expectations. I enjoyed my experience but definitely not overwhelmed. My grandparents stayed at the resort years ago and raved about the amenities. Beautiful scenery but I was there for the golf. I was hoping for more manicured precision for the money I paid.
Fantastic Experience
The course was deceivingly difficult but beautiful and exciting to play regardless. I definitely plan to return and play the Red course next. I look forward to conquer in the Gold course someday..
This course is challenging and in great shape.
The fairways are close to each other. We had three near misses in two rounds.
The Gold course is a great course except for the greens. Not one green has a flat area and the pin is always on a slope. Definitely greens for excellent putters; Not for the average player.
