About
The Gold Course is one of three 18-hole courses offered at the Wigwam Resort, which was named one of Golf Magazine's "Silver Medal Resorts." Golf Digest cited the Gold Course as one of the best public courses in the state. Mature trees are present on all of the courses, as well as winding creeks that create water hazards, which come into play on several holes. There are also strategically placed sand bunkers present on the course. The rolling landscape of the course causes elevation changes that can affect shots. The Wigwam Resort facility also has a putting green and chipping area.

Golfer Reviews
Best round ever
Hard to complain when you shoot your best round ever. Shot a 76 4 over. Hard course but if you play smart it is manageable. Will play again for sure
Concrete greens
The gold course is in great shape send traps are OK but the greens need more water on them not even a ball mark one when the ball hits the green it’s like concrete no fun to play on concrete I recommend more water on the greens the red course I’d recommend to play more softer greens overall good price
Cups Disappointing
Everything was great about the Gold Course until we got to the greens. A piece of foam was placed in the cup rising 2 inches above the ground so the ball wouldn’t fall in. Hit it and go to the next hole was the rule. They should have cut it an inch below the cup to allow the ball to fall in the hole. Everything else was fantastic and I will play again after the precautions are lifted.
Challenging yet fun golf course
Nicely groomed fairways and greens, a lot of bunkers and water which makes Wig Wam Gold a nice challenge.
Beautiful
This has been the best golf experience I have had before. For the price you coulf not find a better deal. I started at 3pm and finishef at 7 before dark. Hard course but forgiving. Loved it and will definitely be back.
An enjoyable day on the course
fairways were fairly long and rough was pretty long as well-probably due to recent rains and unable to cut grass
due to it being wet
Greens had some bare areas (mostly be the edges) and were somewhat slower than many other courses in the valley
Course is fairly long but many of the holes seemed to blend into each other and were not very memorable
pace of play was ok-approx 4.25 hours for 18 holes
Staff was very friendly and overall was an enjoyable
experience
Golfed as a twosome and got paired with an very enjoyable twosome which made the day very pleasant
Great Course!
First time play for our group. Excellent experience with good conditions, good pace of play & friendly/helpful staff. Will definitely come back & recommend to others.
Worth its weight in “Gold”
Course was in great shape today and pace of play way great. Went out at 8:24 and was shaking hands by noon
Best of the three
Wigwam has three courses, a great clubhouse, restaurant, and practice facility.
Wigwam Gold
Course was in great shap. Wasn’t as difficult as described in website or explained by attendants. Would recommend it to a friend. Will play red and blue courses in future.
Very fast round
Greens in good shape. Fairways firmness was good after heavy rain two days ago. Be prepared for thin lies on the bunker. Not horrible but tough to adjust to. Would definitely play again. Fair value at ~$120 per round.
Worth playing again
Tee boxes-10. Fareways-10. Greens-8. Bunkers-6. Pace of play-10. Cool old golf course. Has a country club feel. All over seeded and very green. The greens were a little bumpy but rolled pretty well. The course was firm and fast. The blue tees played fairly short(0 handicap) because of the roll out on drives. Stay out of the fairway bunkers, thin lines and high lips. I'd play it again next time I'm in town.
