Golfer Reviews
Great course in excellent shape.
Course staff was most professional and friendly. Played 36 holes in less than 7 hours.
Will be back again great course
Course had some beautiful views offered some nice challenges greens we're in great shape as well as the rest of the course the price on my hot deal /Father's Day promotion was to die for!!
Overall great value for your dollar
Staff members A little lazy when checking in ( I think it's because where not members ). If you look after things on your own then things get done. The starters are the best working people there. The price for golfing is what keeps us coming back. The course is in good condition for this time of the year.
Nice Course
My brother was out from Michigan and we played the Highlands golf course. The course was in great shape- greens tougher than most, and recently aerated, but they held pretty true. We both had a blast and would play there again. Price was great too, but probably because it was hot as heck.
Must play Course!
The Highlands is in as good or better condition than any course in Tucson. Greens roll fast and true. Fairways and tees are almost lush compared to most other courses that are burned out. Excellent, fair layout. Interesting, challenging holes. Must think your way around. Great hospitality and facilities. Great rate. Will be back regularly!
Great course, great amenities.
This course is always well maintained, has good features for providing a challenging golf experience for any golf skill level, good facilities, and friendly staff.
Heritage highlands
Great course , back nine especially. Love layout, and great views.
Thank you for playing the Highlands U00000562319. The back really does have some awesome views and is a great layout. Thanks for the comments. Hope to see you again!
Thank you dolson123 for your review. We are glad you had a great experience and hope to see you soon!
Thank you Marlin for your review. We are glad you have a nice time at the Highlands! It is nice to see all our returning customers. See you soon!
Very fair course-excellent condition, one of our favorites.
Funky back nine
Couple of target holes on back nine. Fairways, greens and bunkers good shape. Driving range needs new balls, however, grass slots
First time playing and will have better feel for course next time.
Great course in the mountains
The course was in great condition. It's a very difficult course to play. Several holes with blind spots. It was nice playing with members who could give us hints and tell us how to play certain holes. The views were incredible especially on the back nine. I would definitely play the course again.
My Top 5 to play.
Course is in very good shape and the layout is fair and well designed with two on course restrooms and water stations. Multiple tee boxes will appeal to golfers of all handicaps. Greens are ample, challenging and fast. Great views of mountains and city on certain holes.
Very good practice area with separate putting, chipping green and driving range. Practice balls are supplied. Friendly and accommodating staff with great amenities make for a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
Could easily become my home course.
Over-rated
Through the years have played every course in the greater Tucson area and beyond...but never this course because of pricing....... had always heard great things about the Heritage....Was on my bucket-list......Playing it was a huge let-down; maybe I just expected too much.... 3 great holes on the back nine, other than that nothing special. Typical gated-community course among houses and across roadways. ....If you can get a great rate, play it, but don't pay top dollar to play it
Resident Prices are too expensive
Highlands residents should get a break on green fees. This course is way overpriced for residents!!
Hi Phillip,
I'm sorry if you were misinformed or misunderstood, but Residents do get a discount.
Jan-April Public pay $99, Residents pay $67
May- Public pay $59, Residents pay $45
June-Sept Public pay $45, Residents pay $32
Oct-Dec Public pay $75, Residents pay $57
Please call the golf shop if you have any questions.
Hope to see you soon!
The course has great features
The course was the best maintained facility that I have played. The 13th hole is difficult as you cannot see the green, it is up, over down and hidden on the right.
We are glad you had a great time. Thank you for playing at The Highlands. We hope to see you again!
We are glad you had a nice time Newt5389833. Hope you have a chance to visit us again. Thanks for playing the Highlands at Dove Mountain!
