Canadian golfer
Course was in decent condition, the marshals told me they cut the grass low this time of year so it was burnt, but said in about 10 days it will be watered and the fairways will be green again!! Greens where punched small holes thou about 4-6 days ago I’d say but still in decent shape
Vacation tee off
Had time to get a extra round of golf inso I picked this course out and was happy that I did It had all the practice areas that I needed to get ready before I teed off and they had several bottles of water iced down in a cooler on my cart with more at the turn Everything was great from start to finish
Fast greens
Course is playing short as no rough and greens are in good shape but hard and fast.

Fantastic course!
Great course. I come down to Arizona once a year and try to play as much as I can for the time that I am there. This course would be in the top 5 that I have played down in the Phoenix area. The greens were extremely quick and the pace of play was great. I think we played in just under 4 hours. Great practice facility and the patio is a great spot to grab a drink afterwards. I would definitely recommend this course to play and will definitely book on my next trip back!
Great shape
Longbow is a great venue. It is a challenging course. If you like a thinking, challenging course, this course is for you. I doubt that I could ever tire of playing this track. A little pricey but worth the cost.
Not so great
Course in only fair condition.
Pace of play was poor, despite not being very c.rowded
If you’re tuning up for US Open, maybe a good option
Good: layout is mostly good, friendly staff, free bottled water every few holes, nice bar with outside seating
Bad: overpriced, chincy on warmup balls (bag of like 20), uneven tee boxes (pet peave) hard, slanted fairways that feed to bunkers or desert and penalize seemingly good tee shots, lots of tilt on greens that repel shots not hit to small target areas (downhill putts are nearly impossible to get close).
Playing in afternoon (dried out) and in the wind, is a US Open-like test. I don’t know how the average player could enjoy it.
