Long bow golf course

The planes constantly flying overhead were very annoying. The greens in good shape, the fairways were very beaten up. There was a very slow group in front of us and the Marshall insisted that they were up with the group in front of them. When we played through, there were 5 open holes. The starter and staff were rude, while the people in the snack shop were very nice. Would not recommend for the price.

Generally Good Conditions

Tee boxes were a bit thin; fairways were good; rough was fair; greens were very firm, but putting was fast and true; all sand traps needed much MORE sand (like hitting off concrete); pace was good (just about 4 hours for our foursome), as was value.

Long bow golf course

Planes flying overhead the entire time that was loud and annoying. We did not feel the course was worth the price. The worst part of our round was that there were complete beginners in front of us, that treated their round like a driving range. We asked the Marshall if he would allow us to play through and he informed us that they were on pace and keeping right up with the group in front of them. On our own merit, we played through after 9, with 5 empty holes in front of us.

The course itself was mediocre and not in good condition, especially the fairways. The greens putted true.

The starter was rude but the best part was the snack bar people who were efficient and friendly. This was our first and last time to play at this course.

Greens are good

Longbow fairways and tee boxes are OK but the greens are still in really good shape. They are fast and firm with very few ball marks. Seems like the re-sanding of the bunkers last year needs to be done again as basins are hard from repeated watering.

Enjoyable

I wanted to work on my game and was able to get out as a single. The course is in fair shape for summer. My only complaint was the sand traps were inconsistent.

Great Fun

Longbow has some beautiful views if your golf game slacks off on some holes. The course is certainly challenging!

Longbow play

I live this course. It is the transition from spring yo simmer. Grasses were brown. Greens were nice and fast. Wish it was under $100 for the round.

Nice desert course

Course is in good summer condition. A true desert course but has seen a lot of growth around the course in the last few years. Staying in play is essential if you want to score well as the desert comes into play on every hole. A good variety of holes. No elevation changes. You will enjoy playing.

Couldn't afford this all winter

Nice to play it again. Like a lot of courses in the valley, they would benefit from additional water. Fairways are browning up in various places. Tees and greens were good, sand just so so with mixed sand and dirt. There were not that many golfers out there but we were behind a slower group that the marshall was trying to move along.

Overrated

How this course charges what they do is insane. Las Sendas is better and cheaper. (Down the street) Red Mountain is better and cheaper. (Down the street) Conditions are 5/10 all year round, which doesn’t justify the green fees. Views are 3/10. Staff, patio is nice. Grass is yellow and brown.

It was ok ! Nothing special!

I thought this course had immaculate greens however, I found the layout to be somewhat boring and the course filled with golfers who really need to lower their expectations of being PGA PROS.

Truthfully I think this random property in the middle of BFE mesa should stop charging Troon North prices when you can go play Red Mountain Ranch CC for half the price and enjoy a Pete Dye design.

Slow play

Nothing personal but if you cannot drive a goofball at least 150 yards you need to play executive courses. We got paired up with a senior who had no reason to play a long course. All this did was kill the pace of play unless I have a foursome I will not golf here again
