About
Golden Hills Golf Club (formerly known as Arizona Golf Resort) is home to a golf school and a challenging 18-hole course. The golf course is known for its difficult and scenic par-3 holes. It is has a traditional layout that features large, subtly sloped greens that are guarded by bunkers. Stately cottonwood and eucalyptus trees line the generous fairways. Lakes form water hazards that come into play on five holes and there is also native rough throughout the course. With four sets of tee boxes, the course offers a suitable challenge for players of all skill levels. In addition to the course and the school, the Golden Hills Golf Club has a putting green and chipping area as well.

to much standing water.
this course has to much standing water because of that it is very muddy and a good shot down the middle of the fairway may only get as far as the water. Its bad.
This course has really been upgraded recently.
We are very impressed with the condition of the course this season. The fairways are groomed and green. The tees are improved and the greens are very playable. Enjoyable experience.

Perfect day
Its an alright course. Still have some irrigation issues, wet areas where there is no reason to be, The fairways were nice as were the greens. Good value for the money.

Decent course. Did see a drink cart all afternoon. A few of the greens were blotchy needing fill. I would play again…the price was right.

Positive Changes
About a year since I played this course last. Apparently now under new management. The course was in much better condition and definitely showing signs of positive improvement all around. Kèp up the good work Arizona Golf Resort!

Poor shape.
You were trying find grass on the fairway and a level spot on the tee boxes. The greens were ok, but not consistent.

Need Towels for Ball Washers -
A few complaints
1- it would be nice to have a towel by the ball washers
2. Some of the forward tee boxes were in pretty bad shape.
3. We invited another couple to golf with us - and thought we would stop after our round and have a drink and a bite to eat. It was only about 4:30 on a thursday (I think). There was no food available! That was very disappointing.

Condition is everything and this ain't it. Could be a fun little course if they just cleaned it up.

Nice older course
Fairways, first cut of rough and greens were great. Couldn’t miss the fairway by much or you would find dry patchy or no grass at all but keep it in play and it’s a nice track.

Men’s league
We were a twosome Marshall asked us to wait and let the Five men’s league guys go through
We waited every hole then on as they were very slow .
There were at least 2 holes empty ahead of them.

Good course and getting better
Two years ago I would never wish this course on anyone. I’m not saying it’s perfect but large strides have been made and it’s an acceptable and fun course for the money. Summer greens are here! It’s playing fast again

Golf boy
The course has improved a lot this year. Fairways are the most notable improvement. Most of the greens were way better as well with a lot more aerating the course will be back to where it was years ago.
