Pay any price to play at least once in your life."

Challenging golf course.
Played this early afternoon, the course is so good that the heat played no role. The course layout is is great. Very well maintained, greens are good but will be great once airreation is gone. The course is very challenging but enjoyable to play. Two thumbs up for playing there again.
Solid Course
First time playing Vistancia, a 2yr resident of AZ and 10 handicap this course is a very good track. Layout good, forgiving from tee, however iron play needs to on point to score well. Course knowledge goes a long ways . Look forward returning.
solid course
Good variety of holes, the course was in very good shape. Greens running a tad on the slow side but this is understandable because the weather is in the 100's. Played in 3 hours, no one in my way. GPS on cart is good . Pro in shop is a good guy.
what a difference from last year
Tees, fairways and greens were in perfect shape. Really great all the way around.Everybody was very nice.. Just a pleasant experience and great for the money.
Nice Track
One of the better courses I have played. The design is great but there grass is in transition so some bare spots on each hole. The real negative was not the course but the golf carts. The GPS system would only show the greens and not the hole layout. Carts were also kinda of beat up. But architecturally, this is a great design.
Somewhat challenging
Primary disappointments, fairways were very spotty and greens had been aerated and were very rough. Staff were great even gave me a bucket of balls to hit. With partial burned out fairways and rough greens, course was challenging. A long ways between greens and tee boxes. You don't want to walk it.
let the grass grow
Overall the fairways were cut too short. On several hles it was better to use a putter from 10 years off the green. As hot as it is they either need to water more or let the grass grow.
Pace of Play
I play course 4-5 times per week. Fairways are burnt out. However, major complaint is pace of play during summer. They operate at minimum staff in the summer with no marshal. 4-1/2 to 5 hour rounds are not unusual. Staff doesn't seem to care.
Good course reputation but disappointing!
Course very dry and lots of brown spots. Greens also dry.
Why are fairways cut so short? Like hitting off concrete.
Good value but avoid those bunkers
Course was in good shape, to include firm but consistent greens. A few burned out places in the fairways as is common around the valley this time of year. Unfortunately the bunkers are extremely punitive with thin, hard packed sand and wet underneath. Very tough to escape over high lips.
Disappointed
I heard and read good things about this course and I was excited to play it with its long native grass. Unfortunately all the grass had been cut down so it looked like a regular course. Tee boxes were in bad shape but the rest of the course was in good shape considering the time of year. Was told when I got there that they'd bring me a cart when one became available but I had to walk back up from the putting green to ask again for one. First box had 3 groups waiting with no starter. GPS on our cart wasn't working.
The layout is fun and you need to be hitting your driver straight but I think the course loses its bite without the grass.
Great course and value. Hot out here in AZ course was dry in quite a few areas but will always go back
