Trilogy Golf Club at Vistancia

The course is in excellent condition.

The restaurant was excellent. Great food and service. I don't really like the new menu because the removed a couple of my favorites. But it is still good. 7 out of 10. It used to be 10 out of 10.

When my playing partner and I checked in at the golf course, my GolfNow rate indicated we owed $93/each at the golf course. The golf course charged me and my playing partner $97 apiece. When I questioned the difference, they told me they have additional tax and city of Peoria water charges. I don’t know why this is not indicated on the GolfNow reservation. Also, the golf course had cartpath only rules that day. As I have an arthritic condition in my left knee, I asked about the ability to get an ADA golf cart pass to eliminate me having to walk across the fairways. The golf course agent indicated they had no ADA golf cart ability. Due to the excessive walking at the golf course due to the cartpath only rule. I was only able to play nine holes. I visited the golf shop after nine holes and inquired about a credit for the nine holes. I was not able to play. Although the course was very accommodating in granting me Holes in the future, I was told they would only hold this nine hole guarantee for one week. I told them I was not sure my knee would be healed within a week and that did not matter to them. Also, the only way to note my nine hole Guarantee was on a sticky note with my name on it. That sticky note could be lost anywhere on the Golf Pro registration desk. Seemed like a very unprofessional way to grant a nine hole credit.

This is such a fun track, we try to play each time we are in the Phoenix area. Played just after overseeding, so cart path only, always makes the round a bit longer, but no surprises there. Course was generally in good condition and greens in particular were very nice. Not a cheap course to play, but still more affordable than many courses in the area that are not as nice.

Beautiful course with very forgive layout. Provides some challenging shot opportunities depending on how much you want to take on.

Great greens, really good conditions for pre over seed. Definitely playing it again.

1st time playing , course was in great shape, fast greens, however too hot for my wife so only played front 9, want to go back and play again when a little cooler. Staff was very friendly.

General feeling that course was tattered. But in fairness the greens were fast and smooth. Fairways were firm and allowed reasonable roll. No mud antwhere. We play forward at just over 6,100 yards. Handicaps in high low and high teens. Had lots of fun. Took 4.5 hours.

First off the course was in excellent condition, especially for this time of year Arizona. I always enjoyed the layout of this course as well, it’s challenging but not too crazy:

There were two things that made me a little annoyed about my tee time however. I was able to get off work in the morning and booked the earliest possible tee time I could (7:03 am), and would have been there about 15 minutes before my tee time (cutting it close I know) but I would come to find out that Vistancia Blvd, the main road into this community was closed and a detour was required. This delayed me about 10 minutes unexpectedly. I attempted to call the club house several times to let them know what was going on but all my attempts went straight to voicemail. When I got into the clubhouse at exactly 7:00 am three minutes before the actual tee time I was supposed to have they informed me that the group I was to be playing with were already on 1 and that I would need to just quickly go meet with them, I know I should have been there earlier but they must have sent this group out ten minutes early because these guys were already on the green when I got over there. I realize that this is partially my fault here but still felt a little sour about it, considering the lack of ability to communicate with the phones being turned off in the morning combined with the fact they sent my group out early even knowing that someone had signed up to play that tee time. Other than that the course conditions were great and all other staff members were friendly.

Only thing is, I wish the grounds staff would stop and wait for players to hit, which didn’t happen at all.

Classic desert target golf. Nice variety of letting the shaft out of the driver, but needing to play to position/target off of the tee. Greens were faster than other courses played in the area, which was nice, but tough to adjust. Overall great condition, with friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely play again!

I always enjoy playing Trilogy. An added benefit this time was an honest staff who turned in my Bushnell speaker that I left in the cart.
