The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.

After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

Beautiful palette for a course

For a traditional course it was beautiful and fun. No ranger for pace of play or to manage play. Lack of guidance for first time at the course players.

They have GPS and Wi-Fi speakers in carts

Course was in good condition, but tee boxes were scalped.....not anywhere close to a links style course. Not enough bang for your buck IMO. A couple pretty holes and carts and amenities were good.

Links Course 12/30/2020

Always enjoy the Links course. Conditions are below the normal standards. The overseeding this year is not as solid as previous years. Many, many areas where the overseed is thin or non-existent. Greens are in pretty good shape, but still a bit bumpy.

Biltmore Dec 2020

Fun course and great vistas. The homes are always a plus. Biltmore never disappoints. But it was a bit too wet at 0915 tee time. A little crowded the tee off but well managed thereafter. We tend to be spoiled in Phoenix by the course options and this at $130 is not worth it.

Over Booked

The course was completely overbooked. Our tee time was supposed to be at 1pm, and we didn’t tee off until 1:45pm. I booked our tee time 3 weeks in advance. The course was so overbooked that they were directing people to park on the grass near the practice area. We didn’t get to finish 18 holes before sunset because the pace of play was so slow. Didn’t see a single Marshall on the course to tell groups to speed it up. Only saw the cart girl once during our round. At the 15th hole it was starting to near dark so we headed towards the clubhouse and our cart kept shutting off saying we were in a restricted area even though we were on the cart path. The only good thing about the course was that it was in good condition. But all in all this course was a complete disappointment. Do yourself a favor and book your tee time elsewhere.

No Ranger

The course was slammed and extremely slow with people that were novices or totally inexperienced. The course stacked up, called the pro shop for a ranger to assist and NO ONE CAME. Horrible experience that I won’t repeat again.

Not worth the money

Played om 11/25 and had a 1.15 tee time. 3 groups at the tee box got us worried. And yes the pace of play was just horrible. Waiting for every shot. The course conditions were horrible. Every ball you hit had mud on it, no water to clean your balls, grass in the fairway too long and the greens were absolutely the slowest I have played in a long time. Downhill putts just stop and uphill putts you need to hammer.

I understand they just came out of overseeding but you cannot charge this green fee for these conditions and pace of play.

Greens

These greens continue to be an embarrassment to the game of golf. Time and time again, I give it another chance and it never fails, the greens are ridiculously slow. Putts downhill should not stop on the slope. Why on earth do you keep

Them so slow?

A last resort

This was the o Ly course that had an opening for a threesome at the specific time we needed. I now know why.

Like all the other reviews... thin grass, greens like molasses, etc.

My real complaint is that they should have indicated the course conditions in advance. There is no way I would have paid $100 to play a course like this!!

Stan

Ok so it was just coming out of overseed but they should not have been playing it. Grass very thin, mud on the ball on every shot, greens were terrible, muddy, and the sand pails were grown over so you could not help take care of the coarse even if you wanted to. Not even close to worth the money and I play here all the time. Might be ready in another month.

Not Nearly Worth The Money

Played here late October 2020 which is normally the perfect time for courses in Arizona. Most courses have over-seeded and had time to let the course recover from the harsh summer. Not Biltmore! Charged $115 for the round (TPC Scottsdale $20 more for a similar tee time) and there were completely bare tee boxes on the front 9 with very rough and patchy greens throughout the round.

Seems as though they are showing further disregard for the course by packing it with players, pace of around 5 hours for reference.

Had i known the condition of the course I would’ve opted for Camelback or Phoenician. This is a very, very bad look for a club that has been held in a high regard by locals.

Not Quite as Expected

I'm sure the course USED to be lovely but it is no longer the course in the photos. Combine that with waiting several minutes on each and every hole, and you'll understand my less than positive review...

Good not great

This was our first time playing the Links course at the Arizona Biltmore.

The location is good. The holes are mixed, some good and others not. The corse shape is only ok. The greens are decent but the fairways are mixed.

I play d all the way back. A reasonable challenge. My wife played almost all the way up. Good challenge for her as well.

There are a few holes with good views and others with apartment / condo views only.

We enjoyed the bar and lunch.

I doubt I will play the course Rae again.
