Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
About
The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.
After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

Golf outing at the Biltmore
I love the Links course as it offers so many challenging shots. The pace of play was a bit slower than normal due to the great weather and excellent course condition. One additional note I'd like to add is that we had lunch in the Adobe Restaurant and had excellent service from Jake along with great conversation. He's a keeper...
NICE COURSE THE LINKS
GREAT VALUE 0ALL AROUND FUN COURSE.
NICE STAFF AND OUDOOR BAR
Blowing in the Wind
Great course and we got a good deal. Unfortunately, the wind was angry this day which made a few of the holes downright unfair, but that's the breaks.
The Links course is both scenic and challenging. Like a lot of Arizona courses, they could let the rough grow a tad especially in front of hazards. A couple of the greens were less than perfect, but overall the course is in great shape.
Inner City Course With A View
I've enjoyed this course twice now. The operation is well run with plenty of attendants. The driving range is well suited for getting you warmed up for the round with a putting and chipping green to boot. The course is reasonably well layed-out, with only one par 3 that seems forced, though it creates an entertaining blind approach (unusual for a par 3). The fairways have been well maintained with only an occasional bare spot. The greens were all in great shape though the front played faster than the back nine; the back nine seemed more grown out. The back nine holes also serve up some of the most spectacular views of Camelback Mountain and her surrounding foothills. With a wide variety of hole layouts, you are required to have a variety of shots in your arsenal. I'll be playing this one again.
Enjoyable Round
Interesting course that winds through some
interesting architectural homes. Course is fair, well maintained. One should be ready to hit some small greens compared to other Phoenix courses.
Good food
No sandin sand canisters nor any sand to put in this canniest ears. Carts need update.
Good Value
The links course has a lot of variety between the holes, nothing boring about this layout. Fun undulations, a great hilltop par three, and the view from 17 tee box tips is great.
This course is older, and not kept up to top condition. (crumbling cart paths, trashed tee boxes) so definitely not at not troon-level like you might expect for the out-of state fees, but at the much lower resident fee rate, you get a good value. 60 bucks for this track is too much, 40 is a good deal. I live centrally, so I have a lot of choices - and I play here often when I can get on for 50 or less.
Good value for residents
The course was in good shape. Traps were hard as a rock but you find that all over phoenix. Great price for residents
Average course.
Greens were slow, and golf shop staff were rude and seemed to care less about our business. Pace of play was fine and back nine was better than the front. I would probably play there again, but hopefully the staff is friendlier and doesn't treat us like second class citizens just because we didn't pay the full rack rate.
Overbooked Nightmare
We played only one hole and left. They were terribly overbooked. There were two groups still on #1 tee at our tee time. When we finished the first, there were three groups on #2 tee box, two groups on the hole and three groups at #3 tee box. Nine holes would have taken 5 hours.
We went to the pro shop and demanded a refund instead of a rain check. They were unapologetic and were continuing to send people out to the course even though they knew there was a problem. They did not even give a warning at check in. I think it is their responsibility to tell you before you pay that there is an issue and you may want to reconsider. Instead, they were greedy.
I used to like this course and facility. It is terrible now. Their cavalier attitude is a real turnoff. They think they're the Phoenician or Kierland when they are faded glory. I won't go back.
Bad bunkers
Course was in good shape, except for the bunkers. The bunkers are dirt and rock, very little sand. The staff is aware of problem and say there is plenty of sand in the bunkers. The cost to play this course should have decent sand in the bunkers.
Amazing course layout and condition.
This is now my favorite course in Phoenix. The greens were in impeccable condition. The fairways were well groomed and tight. Simply a pleasure to play.
Great value through Golfnow
This was our second time playing this course and while it was quite windy, we still had fun playing this course. 2:00 Start finished at 6 fantastic. Only complaint is the quality of sand(?) in some of the bunkers.
Great course
Got around in 3:40... Unbelievable.
first timer
The course was in excellent shape
A very enjoyable course.
Links is a much more interesting course than Adobe, with varied hole designs and changes in elevation. Not a long course from the white tees, but club selection and where to hit the ball require some thought, especially on the back 9, which as some sloping fairways and elevated greens. My only concern with this course is the quality of the bunkers with crusty and inconsistent sand. Pace of play was quite good on a busy day. This is a course I will play again.
Great Course
Joined a twosome and had a wonderful afternoon of golf and conversation. Tee times are too close, need more space..
Love both Biltmore courses, but please buy more carts
For the amount of money this place does I am blown away how they ALWAYS run out of carts on weekends, usually around 10-11:00am.
Great shop, staff, awesome course, the only complaint I have is that they need more carts. When they run out it sends everything into chaos and it gets backed up. Usually not too slow, but weekend afternoons is when you see a few parties backed up on most tee boxes. They also need to invest in nets to protect their patio and fairways off the driving range, if you hit over there your life is in danger.
Overall love this course and play frequently, hope they listen to the feedback!
Challenging, but worth playing many more times
First played this course over 20 years ago, while in town on business. Now retired, full time resident of North Scottsdale, and played it 10 days ago, and had to come back again. Links course is my favorite and I would highly recommend it to visitors, and year-round residents. I will definitely be back!! Looking for that putting green flag for my 5 hole back yard putting green so that we can say....hit this one to the "Biltmore" ! Thanks!
