Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
About
The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.
After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

Great Variety of Holes
I have long loved the Adobe course at Biltmore but the Links course is a great contrast. The variety of holes keeps this course interesting from beginning to end and there are some very interesting challenges. It's a short enough course to encourage aggressive play but there is plenty of trouble in spots to encourage a player to pick his spots. I really enjoyed having to think my way around this track. The only downside were spots on some of the tee boxes that need some attention.
greens
greens slow and bumpy. I would like to see the greens cut short and smothed out so the putting can be more precise.
Mow the greens
Overall the Links course that we played is in good condition, with the exception of the greens. Very slow putting and don't hold. Nothing really new for this course, still a good bargain for what we paid!
Love the links
I went by myself and got paired up with a couple of really nice guys. We had a fun round and I took in all the beauty. A great historic course.
Great course for the money
The Links is a fun 18 holes of golf. Always enjoy playing there.
first timer
This was my first experience with the Biltmore. Overall a very good experience. I was early so the starter let me go off with another group. Pace of play was good for a Saturday in Arizona. I think our round was completed in just over 4 hours. Course was in good shape. Greens were a bit slow but that is normal for this time of year; just after aerating. They rolled true. Be ready for the last two fairways on the links course. 17 slopes left and it's almost impossible to hold it on the fairway. 18 slopes right and you can almost hold it on the fairway. I heard the links was a bit harder. I'd come back to play it again, or see the other side.
BAD EXPERIENCE
There were several issues that made this a bad experience. First the golf course did not have our tee time on file. This resulted in overbooking and difficulty at the front desk and over 30 minutes delay in getting off and slower play with quite a bit of waiting. The pros indicated that they were not notified by golfnow of the tee time reservation. Not sure who screwed up but it makes me hesitant to book through golfnow again. In fairness, I have not had this problem with golfnow in the past.
Great course
I was a little confused when I was pulling up. No big signs to point you in the right directions. Also confusing when trying to find the back 9 for the Links. Overall had a great time. The course is in great shape. First time playing the course. We had two foursomes in front of us that we're a little slow. Loved the 15th hole. It's great!!!!
Would play there again. Golf Now was $26.
Great play!
I play this course regularly and it's in as good of shape as I've seen it. Biltmore is not a high end golf experience but rather a much better than average course especially for the cost making it a great overall value. Can't beat the views of the luxury homes and mountain scenery which makes for a great round of golf.
Horrible greens
The greens were among the worst I have ever putted on- extremely slow and bumpy.
The course layout was very nice and fairways were pretty good.
Would not go back
Course not in good condition. Greens beat up. Water in coolers Luke warm on a 106 degree day. Pace of play very slow over 4 1/2 hours. Horrible experience for such a highly touted course!
Always a favorite
Absolutely love the scenery on this course. Took two hours and ten minutes to play 18 as a single. Cheap rates and fast play in the summer make this my favorite course.
conditions
fairways poor for a upscale course
this is all I can say, except the green were also poor
Phoenix Summer Play
Course was fairly busy for 112 temp. Greens were dry and fast, overall course OK.
Great views but bad greens
The greens were newly aerated so they were very bumpy and we didn't know prior to playing. The course and views were great though!
Short, Easy & Fun
Links Course: It's a nice course to play. Remember to pay for range balls in the golf shop prior to driving over to the range. Additionally, the greens were just punched and sanded recently, so they are rough to putt on right now. Good course for beginner and intermediate players.
interesting features, wonderful condition
Very good condition, easy to navigate around the course. Clean, interesting. Looking forward to playing it again.
very nice course
Great course for the money. Greens werent in best of shape. Pace of play was perfect. I was a single but the 4some ahead didn't slow me up at all. Played in 3:40.
Biltmore's Downhill Slide to Sad
I have played the AZ Biltmore for 30 years. It was always a great course to get out and scoot around. Quality golf. But sad to say, the $35 green fees and $70 rental set was not worth the price of admission. The pro shop took our money and that was the last we saw of anyone. A course which takes a max 3hrs on a busy day was well past the 4hr mark. No rangers, hardly a beverage girl to be found. Groups were stacked upon group. Even for the meager amount of $35 the Biltmore is no longer a place to play. A SAD Day.
