Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
About
The Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club is the "younger" of two golf courses on the Biltmore property, and offers intelligence and innovation, with little room for impatience, on a much-feted design that fast gained reverence from both local and visiting golfers. The golf course features fairways that wind amidst lush pine trees and some of Phoenix's showier houses, greens so bunkered that precision is the minimum to shoot for, and contoured greens that roll as they come. Put the ball where it belongs, and it'll show up on the scorecard; put the ball where it doesn't, and that will show up, too.
After your round on the Links at Arizona Biltmore Golf Club, head in for one of several dining options, from Southwestern to French to Asian to fusion dishes, as well as snacks and high tea post-tee.

Not A Good Vlue For the Money
Although the scenery is great the course was in poor condition with 4 of the greens with large sections of just burnt brown grass and many of the fairways with weeds where grass should be. I know it is summer but a little water would be a good idea. Biltmore Links is my favorite local course but I can't recommend it based on the conditions and the overpricing right now.
Great Course, Great Amenities....Course condition was So So
I always enjoy my rounds at the Links Course and the Estate Course. I just found it troubling that there were many patches of dirt where there should have been grass.....around the greens/fringe area and on the greens as well. Not a good look Biltmore!
Terrible Shape + No Range or Putting Green
I understand it's summer in Phoenix, but this was bad by any standards. So many courses do better in the same conditions I just don't understand the excuse. The greens were extremely slow with all sorts of dirt areas cutting through, the fairways had to be lift clean and place to avoid hitting out of mud holes and the bunkers were just hard pan. I kept thinking it would get better, and the back nine improved a little with the fairways being less patchy, but everything else stayed the same.
Even with perfect conditions, the layout isn't anything special outside of 2 or 3 holes that offer something outside of just the most basic visuals and design.
I was disappointed and wish I'd have spent my day somewhere else
Great Course But Poor Conditions
Links is my favorite local course. However the fairway conditions are poor on 5 of the 18 holes. Spotty fairway grass and greens were very dry. Course needs water and better care. At $49 it is over-priced for the current conditions. Layout is great and hole #15 is the best in the Valley!
Pleasurable
Quick pace of play .. although at 107 degrees we were the only ones out there .. that being said, course in good condition
Great Course In The Middle Of Phoenix For A Fair Price
Biltmore Links is our favorite local course. Play among the mansions with million dollar views of the city. The first 9 holes are rather level with water on 3 of the holes and dog legs on 4 other holes. The second nine winds up through the ravines to the elevated tee box of Hole #15 that is 172 feet above the fairway with 360 degree views of the Valley. If you have out-of-town friends this is the course to bring them to!
Rough Shape But Still Fun
I know the course is getting ready for aeration but this is the worst I've seen this course in almost 30 years of playing it. It does look like the Adobe (oops Estate's course now) is in good shape so I am looking forward to the Links being finished. For now there are just a lot of non-grass areas in the fairways. But they have priced it accordingly to make it worth the play. I still love this course and the layout remains great as does the staff.
No driving range until September
Wish I knew range was closed all summer. Poor pace of play and lots of dead spots on the fwys
Poor conditions for a prestigious course
The conditions on the front were horrible, would be nice to play on grass. The back was better but this course needs a lot of attention. Would not be back any time soon. I have had better luck in the winter months, no excuses. Make it nice or shut it down.
Great place
The course was in really good shape and was greatly improved from when I last played it 2 years ago. Golf shop staff is friendly and polite. Outdoor services guys were helpful. Pace of play was great. Starter and rangers were nice guys. New restaurant and bar is beautiful. Only criticism is there are a few dead trees by first tee and on 18 that need to be cut down. Definitely recommend this place.
The money seems to have gone into the Adobe
I've been playing The Biltmore for years and always enjoyed the layout and condition of The Links course. However in recent years they have been renovating, changing the layout of the Adobe and totally rebuilding the clubhouse and restaurant area. Unfortunately the driving range and practice facility are currently closed also.
I feel as if they have prioritized these projects and not upkeep on the Links course, which is unfortunate. The grass was in considerably poor condition even for summer, the ground everywhere was hard and compact so there was little to no control for any shot, and the bunkers so hard and compacted that you are not able to get under the ball at all.
The Adobe did look in great shape but I only saw the "show" holes so it's possible there could be other issues.
I'll skip The Biltmore for a while.
Greet course for the money
This course offers a little of everything. Narrow desert holes with wide open ones next to other holes. The new pro shop and bar and restaurant is beautiful and will be coming back just for those Phoenix views.
Surprisingly not fun golf course
Besides having amongst the nicest staff and exceptional lounging facilities and golf shop…the course couldn’t decide if it was firm and fast or muddy and slow. The greens are meh. Getting a good lie is a coin toss regardless of where you hit the ball and the bunkers seem like they haven’t had moisture or even raking in the past 2 months. If I wasn’t schedule to play here..it would be unlikely that I would ever play that side on purpose again. Kind of disappointing.
Lovely everything
Best scent for a pro shop ever. They are very accommodating and friendly. The Marshalls were actually helpful and nice. Amazing!
