The sun shines 350 days a year in Phoenix and you can enjoy this factor at Ahwatukee Country Club. "Ahwatukee" is Crow Indian for "house of dreams", but this could easily be the "golf course of dreams".
The semi-private Ahwatukee Country Club offers an 18-hole golf course designed by John Bulla in 1974 that is open year-round and includes a driving range, as well as a cart included in the greens fee. The golf course is par-72 and measures 6,713 yards from the championship tees.
The Ahwatukee Country Club golf course features a fairly wide-open layout, but has out-of-bounds areas on either side of the fairways - including some with houses, so watch out for those windows - as well as water hazards on some holes. The putting greens play fast.
After a tight front nine on the Ahwatukee Country Club golf course, things open up on a razor-sharp par-4 dogleg 10th hole, with no chance to cut corners: there's a towering forest to the left.

Rough course conditions but great layout
Ahwatukee golf course was a bit disappointing because the GolfNow app made it appear to be in better shape, but it was an enjoyable round with the two gentlemen with whom we played; we all got extra roll out on the fairways, but that also made it difficult o the greens. I look forward to when it is n better shape.
Good for 45 bucks
Course was good for the value but not in great shape but again for 45 bucks it was worth the day out.
Ok, but needs work
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the course Marshall was great. The track itself is a fun layout with decent size fairways. However, the tees, fairways and greens were very dried out and hard. There’s a lot of dirt areas throughout the main parts of the course and what grass there is was very thin. The bunkers were especially hardpan like with little to no sand to work with. They haven’t overseeded yet so I’m not sure if the course was in that condition because of that or if that’s the way it always is.
Great Value. Fun Course. New Ownership
Had a great time. Awesome staff. Lots of fun. Food was really good. Course has gotten much better since new ownership taking over. Can't wait until overseed is finished.
Good course for the price
Course was better than the last few times I played it. And overall had a good experience for a good price.
Major Improvements
This course used to be very neglected for many years, until Dobson took over and now improvements are already noticeable. Better greens, fuller fairways, flatter tee boxes. Overall a lot of improvement

The golf course was beautiful and well maintained. The layout was challenging but enjoyable, and it required a lot of focus and good course management. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend this course to other golfers!
