Nice executive course
Course was in decent shape. Greens roll true and fast. Bunker sand was mostly soft and fairway grass good. Layout good but course has no yardage or PGA markers on tees and download for my Garmin includes 9 holes. Having on course yardage aides and an updated download for Garmin devices would bump my layout rating. Regardless, it is a fun and challenging course for the money.
No thanks
Save your money. Course was not in good shape. My fault for not remembering it from last time I played. They charged my grandma $16 to ride in a cart we already paid for. Basically she had to pay and not play. Again my fault.
Great staff,good course, zero ambiance
It's too bad Mr G can't get a clubhouse built, can't get a liquor license, can't support handicaps or GPS with a National Course Rating Database. For 1/2 the course you have no GPS satellite yardage, it's all guesswork. The price is OK if you can get a deal. The staff is outstanding considering they have little to work with. $17 for 100 range balls is high. Still, you make your own fun and it's a good course for beginners if they bring enough balls. Not called the Lakes for nothing :>).
Nice Exec Course
This is an interesting little course. Plenty of water to keep you honest.
Good value for the money. I will definitely play again.
Course needs a lot of work
I know that this course was closed for many years, but it is not at all ready for play, and charging what they do is ridiculous. There are no amenities, we had to buy bottles of water and they were only available at the shipping container of a club shop. The staff was friendly, but the grounds were under construction and a lot of grass was dead. Pace of play was awful. We waited for 20 minutes at the 7th hole. Maybe in 2026 this course will be worth playing, but until they get everything built, it's not worth it.
Like a muni
This course is working on making a comeback after being abandoned for nearly a decade. Played just a few weeks after rye over seed, the fairways were in good shape and the greens rolled true and were quick but not fast. A few dead spots on the greens but not so bad that is affected the roll.
A great course for the price - a great place to play with beginner golfers to show them the ropes and still have fun.
Basic municipal course
The course was ok but wouldn’t play it again. Got behind a 3 seniors that were extremely slow. Caught them on the third hole and the never offered to let me play through. I was by myself. Finally I just skipped #9 and drove by them. No courtesy or golf etiquette. No Marshall around either. And lastly it was cart path only.
4-hr Round
Tee off at 10 am got done at 1:50 pm, ridiculous for a small course par 60 , no ranger to maintain the 3 hr pace , plenty of workers in the club house, maybe the weather is to nice to be outside, today it was 81 degrees
Needs to grow a bit.
The layout was good and the staff was excellent. The course has sone growing to do. Slow greens, not quite green yet. I'm confident it will get there.
Yikes
people were nice. but course is run down to the max
