Great value
This course gives a a good bang for your buck. Great for beginners and people trying to work on their game.
Poor public course
Course in poor shape. Greens rough and bumpy. Fairways nearly nonexistent. Cart path hardly there. Pay a little more and play a decent course and not this cow pasture.
Rough shape
This place is usually always a little rough. However, the greens seemed especially bad this day. Was also tough to walk the course due to a lot of standing water.
We play here quite a bit and it’s so much better than it was a year ago. Sometimes the play is a little slow but there are some elderly people that play and it’s good for them. My only complaint is the puddles of water in front of some of the greens that turn into muddy ruts as carts go thru them. You can’t beat the price for 18 holes.
Improving
The fairways and greens are much improved over last years condition.
Good and Bad
Read numerous reviews before making my tee time here and frankly I often find some people who expect country club conditions at municipal prices. This was mostly true here as well however there are some things worth mentioning. STAFF: There was one person in the pro shop when I checked in. He was a little short tempered. Understandable as he had numerous other things to do and he was by himself. COURSE CONDITIONS: The course was in good shape considering the amount of play it gets and the restraints from government owned golf courses. PACE OF PLAY: Pace was average and the round was overall enjoyable. Good course if you are a beginner or need some work on your short game.
Paradise Valley
Course Staff very welcoming and professional Fun course to take my wife to play together Great value this time of year
Best Value for the Price
Great course for new golfers. Very low elevation change and hardly any houses in play from the tee boxes. Water hazards on only 4 holes. Has a driving range, chipping area and putting green to warm up on. Snack bar has few choices for food and only fountain drinks and bottled/canned beverages to drink.
