Good bang for the buck
Decent course, good bang for the buck in Phoenix in Summertime.
Terrible Experience
Unfortunately, my experience last Saturday was terrible. I had a 10:30 Tee Time and they had no carts. The wait was 45 minutes for a cart. The course was soo slow and backed up and the conditions were terrible. The Carts do not have coolers and nobody on the course to serve drinks. Also did not have a tanager so there were some 5 and 6 people groups.
The only bright spot was the 1 lonely guy working in the clubhouse checking people in and getting carts ready. He was a pleasure. I don’t know his name but he worked last Saturday morning. Kudos to him. Had a smile on his face as he was getting abused by every player.
Thank you for listening. I have been on this course before with a better experience.
Basic
The course is what it is and a great value for the price. I knew going into it that overseeding was going to take place. What I didnt expect was the not so warm welcome and the short aggitated responses to questions from the staff.
JUNK!
the only good thing was the brand new golf carts. The course is in horrible condition with old, not-filled in holes, down and dead trees, and on-course bathrooms that are completely disgusting and unusable. I would rather pay another 20 bucks for some course clean up and maintenance. Shame on them.
Jam packed
There were 3 groups backed up on the 3rd hole. I don’t mind playing a junk course but when they schedule t times back to back it makes for a terrible day. We left after playing only 2 holes.
Good value
Bit of slow play - but a lot of people learning and enjoying golf. Great value place to get 9-18 in.
Weekday golf
Greens were finally so much better, fairways like a cow pasture; could use mowing and upgrading .. however, you do get a lot of roll out of your ball .. price is what brought us back
Rough and unkept, but worth the value
The course appeared to be poorly maintained, with patchy greens and balding greens. There were a lot of areas where there was tall standing grass along the fringes of the course boundaries. The course provides a good challenge for both irons and drivers with a nice variety of short and longer holes. Not a bad course for the value, but don't expect it to be a topnotch course, you get what you pay for.
Not bad!!!
Everyone else is in overseed but this one was still available. Grass quality was pretty good! Not under watered, some areas quite deep but for the price, an excellent time. Will definitely be back
Save your money.
New to the area. Nice guy behind desk but course is t worth the drive imo.
Good for new golfers
This course overall is a good value. Price point isn’t terrible, the layout isn’t bad. Course average for hole distance was probably 160 though. Didn’t realize it was an executive course when I booked a tee time. Course maintenance was okay at best but not below the expectation of a public course.
Overall it was a great way to spend the morning with friends and I would definitely add to my rotation of courses to play occasionally.
Not worth the price
This course is never kept up, summer time or not. Spend $5 more and go to Cave Creek
I grew my son up on this course! It’s where I taught him how to play golf
The course is a mess! I am not sure if they are selling it or just letting it go cause they got no staff. But my goodness grass growing through the cart path. Fairways over grown!
