Don’t waste your time or money
The condition of this course was atrocious. You could tell that it had not been mowed in probably a month. When you lose a ball in the rough on the green because the grass is so deep it’s just ridiculous. It was either knee-high grass or dirt there was no in between. The staff was not friendly at all. There was trash on the course. People were playing loud music while they played on the course. It is not what golf should be like. This is the worst course I ever played.
Terrible conditions
Full of unmowed crabgrass areas around the greens and in the fairway. Dirt patches everywhere. Hardly any actual grass except on greens. Was hoping for a short practice course closeby. Will never return
Just below average
Cheap, and you get what you pay for. Unmanaged course, fairway is either dirt or deep thick stuff. But it’s cheap, course is shorter but that’s expected.
Course in bad shape
They just had a monsoon storm, there was debri from trees and branches everywhere. I hit a drive down 5he middle of the fairway and still couldn’t find my ball. Lots of range balls on the 1st, 6th; and9th fairways making it hard to find my own ball. There were large ponds of standing water from the storm flooding over the cart paths. ( which are in need of repair)
Decent overall, could be better
par 3s were pretty nice. i wish i could say the same for the park 4 and par 5s. the fairways were literally just dirt. cost 17 bucks a person i clouding carts, so i can’t be too mad about it. is a decent course for cheap
Great course!
Staff is incredible!
Price increase should equal improvements, but not the case
The prices here have gone up with new management in recent years, but the course conditions are consistently poor. Greens that are so slow, I had a putt stop dead on a down slope. $30 isn’t too expensive for a round of golf, but there are better courses for less around the valley.
Trashy trash trash
This course is terrible. If you aren't on the green, you are in hard dirt 95% of the time. Yes, it's very cheap but it is insanely bad condition. Palo Verde Golf Course costs the same and is in WAY better condition.
Good value, bad golf etiquette
This course is right by our house which we liked. The staff was friendly. The condition of the course was so-so but you’d expect that at this cheap price. I am a beginner and the pace was too slow. We were waiting a while in between holes for a group of 4 and another group of 2 in front of us. Some young guys were playing behind us and were really rude/impatient, they kept teeing off while I was still on the green. Their golf ball came within feet of hitting me multiple times. I could only play as fast as the people in front of us. My first experience was not so great because of that. Might find another course to play regularly.
More rough (sort of) than expected
Typical Summer playing conditions PVGC…. Fortunately there was some turf on the greens, because there wasn’t much to speak of on the fairways. The lack of grass can make for a lot of “roll” on the worst of shots, but it can be very challenging for high handicappers trying to hit off hard-pan dirt patches. Better (somewhat) during Winter months—I hope.
