Nice Little Course
Paradise Valley was a nice surprise. Great place to tune up your short game with all the par 3s. Used all my clubs but my driver and 3 wood. Well worth the money. Staff was super friendly and made us feel welcome. Would recommend to golfers of most skill levels.
Course conditions
This course needs some serious maintenance. The fairways are turning brown in some areas. Golfers are throwing their beer cans on the ground. Lots of wildlife that come right up to you.( that’s not really a problem). Lots, and I mean lots of weeds in the rough. Easy to lose balls amongst fallen leaves and weeds.
Horrible staff
Staff are very rude. Both time I have been here I have had negative interactions. I could deal with that if the course was decent. It’s not. Front 9 might as well be a putt putt course. Back 9 is decent. Better have 4 wheel drive on your ball for these greens.
Paid for 18. My gf was feeling ill after 9. Asked for a rain check for the last 9. Man at the front smiled and shook his head. “We don’t do rain checks here.” I feel as if they stole money from me. Over $100 for 9 holes. Sad because I live across the street. I won’t be going back. I’ll pay the higher fees on an actual course that cares about their customers.
Fun Time
Being a beginner golfer I appreciate a lot of par 3’s. The course is fun although not in the best shape. The specials they are running are nice.
Beautiful day for golf
Played Sunday 4/3 late in afternoon. Beautiful day, nobody behind us so stress free. Course in fair condition. Sand traps hard packed mud, greens fair, some fairways with mud, some parts dirt, mostly ok. Most annoying part of this course is that many holes within striking distance of driving range. So on multiple holes, there may be multiple balls near your ball both on fairway and rough.
All that being said, my wife and I are not great golfers, lots of par threes, people are very nice, and it was a nice way to practice some golf on a lovely afternoon.
tee boxes in real bad shape. greens sum good sum not so good
needs to be cleaned up. Tee boxes in poor shape. fair ways are fair. sum greens are good and others are in need of work.
Great local spot
I enjoy playing here. Course conditions vary with some rough patches and bouncy greens. Sand bunkers could use some sand, if it wouldn't blow away. 12 Par 3, 5 Par 4, and 1 Par 5. make for a par 61 course. Regular tees = 58.5/85.
It's a shame
If PV put some money into this course, it' would be so much nicer. It's a great area. Such a shame
Paradise Valley
The course is a bit ragged and the greens are just ok.
This like most public courses has a lot of potential, but needs some money invested in it. It is a great course for beginner golfers.
Paradise Valley Golf Course
I've played this course before and always enjoyed it. It's a fun Par 60 course and a great place to hone your skills!
Areas of opportunity:
1. I made my reservation online and when I arrived to check in the employee on staff that day said he didn't see me in the system. I showed him my confirmation email and after a few seconds staring at my phone he said "they messed it up over there", (whatever that means - where's over there and who's they??)
2. I would recommend to fill in the pot-holes on the cart path.
