Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort receives distinctions: Golf Digest placed it among the top 450 U.S. public courses, and it regularly features among Arizona's best 25 golf course. It doesn't hurt that the golf club regularly hosts eye-catching affairs like the Harmon Killebrew Invitational, the Royce Clayton Charity Classic and the Phoenix Suns Scramble. The golf course itself offers lush greens that entwine with the Sonora Desert's terrain, which the golf club says it carefully preserves, and features 18 holes of championship golf in tandem with magnificent scenery and plenty of challenges.
There's a fairly good chance that golfers will catch sight of a quail or coyote out on the Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, and management asks that layers give the critters the right of way. In order to ensure golfers' shots go straight and don't snag in a cactus or chuckwalla, the club offers both individual and group glf lessons. This is also a place to enroll in the Hilton Golf Academy.

Beautiful Scenery
Absolutely stunning landscape and backdrops. Course came out of overseed beautifully. Heavy rains that morning caused the driving range to close, which was puzzling, but not a big deal. Overall, a well maintained and managed course.
Grwat coursr, chexk in was not great. Paid and then was accusrd of not paying for our round while at the range. Finally got it sorted out.
Great layout and amazing staff
Loved the elevation changes and great views. Staff was super friendly and made us feel completely at easy and welcome. Course was in great shape and greens were true. Overall layout was great if you like a mountain course. Front nine played easier with open fairways and back nine was tighter with target golf. Overall great experience.
Great layout with elevation changes on back 9
This is a well laid out course that takes you through the community. Starts off easier with open fairways but as you get to the back nine it is more target gold with elevation. Changes. Started and staff were super helpful and friend. Made the road so much more enjoyable!! Great experience! Will definitely play here again.
4 groups on a par 3
Tee time was 12:30 made it 16 holes before the curtain closed. Played here over 40 times and never encountered this pace of play. The ranger just shrugged his shoulders.
wonderful experience
As we get on with the course, the holes get better and better up and down the mountain. It was a spectacular track, we enjoyed it so much.
Weekday golf
Course is in great condition, greens true and staff on top of things. 2nd visit in a month, will be back again.
I played as a single. Everyone was was nice. . Course layout is beautiful and I enjoyed the challenges it offers. Cart path only on a few holes.
Brutally slow day.
We were very frustrated with the lack of concern by the Marshall in regard to the pace of play. Tee times were 10 minutes apart so all on him to keep groups moving.
Love the course but the 5 hour pace ruined our afternoon.
Not just for the views! Challenging, and constantly forcing you to make club and ball placement choices!
I’ve played here multiple times and will continue coming back!
