Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort receives distinctions: Golf Digest placed it among the top 450 U.S. public courses, and it regularly features among Arizona's best 25 golf course. It doesn't hurt that the golf club regularly hosts eye-catching affairs like the Harmon Killebrew Invitational, the Royce Clayton Charity Classic and the Phoenix Suns Scramble. The golf course itself offers lush greens that entwine with the Sonora Desert's terrain, which the golf club says it carefully preserves, and features 18 holes of championship golf in tandem with magnificent scenery and plenty of challenges.
There's a fairly good chance that golfers will catch sight of a quail or coyote out on the Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, and management asks that layers give the critters the right of way. In order to ensure golfers' shots go straight and don't snag in a cactus or chuckwalla, the club offers both individual and group glf lessons. This is also a place to enroll in the Hilton Golf Academy.

Absolutely great summer golf day
Given this is Arizona, this course was in fantastic shape. Amazing the green were so receptive unlike other courses that have concrete summer greens. Layout was enjoyable and challenging, will definitely play again. Thanks to the staff for ensuring smooth pace of play and their friendliness.

Fun course !
First time playing Lookout 👀 mountain. Played with some nice members. Great variety of holes, great conditions. Pace was a bit slow for 0730 start. Would recommend to a friend and will be back!
The grass was cut too low for my game. the bunkers that I found my balls in were hard and filled with small rocks
Very fun layout
It’s fun winding through the valley while playing this course. Greens are challenging and much slower than the practice surface. Good warmup facilities, and plenty of elevation change throughout. Plenty of OB so bring a few extra balls if you need them
Work on your sand shot!
Great course to play during the year. Beautiful scenery along the long distance between holes. Lots of sand traps with little water so be prepared. Friendly staff.
Fantastic course
I had not played here before and I am sad I hadn't played here sooner. Challenging course, tough greens and incredible views. What more can you ask for. It's now my favorite course in the valley and can't wait to play next week again!
A Favorite
For the temps & time of year, the course is in very good shape. This is one of the best designs in Arizona, features great variety & options. Always try to take out-of-state visitors to play here, knowing that they will enjoy it.
Best greens in the valley
The greens are the best. Firm but true. No summer burn marks. Overall, the course is in great shape!
