Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort receives distinctions: Golf Digest placed it among the top 450 U.S. public courses, and it regularly features among Arizona's best 25 golf course. It doesn't hurt that the golf club regularly hosts eye-catching affairs like the Harmon Killebrew Invitational, the Royce Clayton Charity Classic and the Phoenix Suns Scramble. The golf course itself offers lush greens that entwine with the Sonora Desert's terrain, which the golf club says it carefully preserves, and features 18 holes of championship golf in tandem with magnificent scenery and plenty of challenges.
There's a fairly good chance that golfers will catch sight of a quail or coyote out on the Lookout Mountain Golf Club at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, and management asks that layers give the critters the right of way. In order to ensure golfers' shots go straight and don't snag in a cactus or chuckwalla, the club offers both individual and group glf lessons. This is also a place to enroll in the Hilton Golf Academy.

Fast Greens, great course
My first time playing and it did not disappoint. What a great course. Great condition and greens were fast. Friendly staff all around. The View let’s talk the view. The layout is amazing. Now one of my favorite courses.
Nice Course!
Sweet course with a different layout compared to other Phoenix courses. Pretty wide open for your first 6 holes and then tightens up for the rest of the round. Course is in good condition.
Great except for bunker conditions
Bunkers either need to be watered which would be extremely difficult considering how many there are or more sand needs to be added. This is a problem that shouldn’t be overlooked!
Amazing Course
Beautiful course !! Views are spectacular. Back nine is much more difficult but nice. Staff was amazing and friendly. Will definitely be back!!
A MUST
Title says it all. You need to play it twice, once for the beauty, the 2nd time so you know where to hit. What a beautiful track. While in town give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
Painted grass
Ok course with some funky tricked up holes
Since when did troon courses start painting the grass?
Its what low budget courses do instead of seeding properly
If you want your shoes, clubs, towels and balls to be covered in sticky blue crap stear clear of this dog track
You can play that course every day and will always like it
Everything is good at that course. Easier first 6 holes to warm you up followed by 12 jaw breaker holes with a higher degree of difficulty.

When I need a break from my home courses, I go to Lookout Mountain. It is consistently good & a pleasant day all around!

Beautiful course
Nice course with an interesting layout
We were pleasantly surprised to see how well laid out this course was with some interesting holes. We had some issues with pace of play and the Marshal did an outstanding job keeping the groups moving which was very appreciated. Definitely will play here again.
Course was in great shape.. Pace of play was good.. Staff was friendly and courteous.
